    For those who have dogs, just buy a pound of scrap bacon and fry it up. It is cheeper then the treats and it lasts longer at a piece a day and frankly the dog is just as happy.

    Thanks for posting this, we've 5 dogs and sometimes the 2 inside Papillions do get storebought treats (usually when at one of my daughters), I'll be sure to mention this. I usually mix in scraps with their dried dog food, our dogs eat just about everything here, everyone gets a small piece of american cheese everyday (2 spiked w/aspirin for the old dogs).
