No one should be condemned. The rich should be pitid and prayed over. It's hard for the rich to inherit the Kingdom.

If I Were a Rich Man...

....Yahda, yahda, yahda, yah! Furthermore, no, I wouldn't want to be condemned because I happened to be on the upper side of the American class system

    Rich is relative.

America is the most affluent nation in history.

The "poverty" income level in america is about $28,000.00 per annum (family of 4).

The national average wage index for 2010 was 41,673.83.

The average income of a family in India is about $5000.00.

"Rich" is not a sin. Unthankful is.

However, I know that probably every poster here at the BB is very thankful to our Father in heaven for our abundance - here in the nation He has so richly blessed.

    Especially today - Thanksgiving Day.

    Thank you Lord.

We here are all rich compared to many places in the world. It is not sinful to be rich, but is may be sinful how we became rich and how we use our riches. Selfishness is sinful. Remember the verse about to whom much is given?

Well these rich should be discreet during these economic times. Less---fortunate---people are inclined to be envious.

Covetousness and demanding the government use force to take money from one to give to another is sin.

The old money hard asset rich families should be condemned. Many of the new money paper profit rich people are trying to make the world into a better place for all our grandkids. Bill Gates, for example.

"The God who gave us life gave us liberty at the same time" and asked ‘Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are of God?’"~ Thomas Jefferson

Funny how Jefferson spoke of liberty but would not grant it to his slaves. He considered them property, or money if you will. Years later we demanded that government use force to make them release the ill gotten gain.

Yea Ole Tom was quite the hypocrite LOL but I wont depreciate him ..... Im often a hypocrite, as are we all.

Id also like to point out that there are some people who have actually earned their wealth by dint of industry, intelligence, hard work & sleepless ambition, self-denial & I will even venture to site superb villainy. Why should every man who has to count his pennies feel in some fashion that those who surpass him in mind & will & ingenuity has "exploited" him, and by their wealth have taken money from his own pocket?

I'm sure you find this sentiment throughout the country, but I know from experience that it's especially evident in the liberal North where I live. I know its encouraged by Obama & his administration as a tool to get reelected (isn't that why we are talking about it?)
