Kind of impossible to prove. My opinion is nobody in D.C. could wait for that war. Even after the democrat takeover in '06, Bush got every single on of his war-funding bills through.

Bush had congress bypass the constitution, so congress could authorize & fund the invasion without a declaration of war.

Yes, after the Congress, both republicans and democrats, authorized and funded the invasion, President Bush ordered the invasion. Of course he and Cheney had been pushing for it and enlisted the help of almost all in power.
I imagine many went along so as not to appear weak in the face of an enemy who they had been told was collaborating with the same terrorists who had attacked the Twin Towers.
And ponder this....
The Senate was split 49-49, with one independent. The democrat senators voted 29/21 for the invasion. They could have stopped it, but didn't.
And 82 House democrats voted for the invasion. The 82 votes taken away from the "yay" side would have made the official H.O.R. tally 133/208.
This invasion could not have happened without a lot of democrat congress people authorizing it. To blame it on Bush after being shown this information time and time again makes me wonder if you even are interested in the truth.

I originally asked for a transcript of this video, but in looking for one, found out that is was a hoax put out by the onion news source. Pretty well done. Had I had a better internet connection, that let me view youtube without stopping every few seconds, I would have known it was a hoax when he said that "The Air Force will be trained to fight these <classified> due to their enormous size and otherworldy strength..."

An aside to the topic, my wife once asked me how to tell what branch of the service people were in when they were in civvies. I told her "If he thinks he's better than everyone in the room, he's a marine. If he talks about what he's going to do after he gets out [of the military] he's in the army. If he's flirting with a girl, he's in the air force. If he's flirting with a guy, he's a sailor (sorry sailors. But it is still funny!). If he thinks he's a part of the group, but he's really not, he's in the coast guard (again, my apologies, but it's still funny!).
Thought people would get a kick out of that.
