Lots of prayers for this school...this is where I graduated from.

    http://www.cnn.com/2012/02/28/justice/ohio-school-shooting/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

I read the entire text of the shooter's message. That, combined with the message he was said to have sent that he was bringing a gun to school Monday...it shocks me that people are talking about there being no real signs that he could do this.
Looking at his FB, his recent favorite game is "Assassins."

So yes, signs were very much there. On the other hand, so many teens say this stuff and write this stuff and play these games. When is a person supposed to take it as an honest threat?

In this case, I'M BRINGING A GUN TO SCHOOL MONDAY would have been a good moment, if that really is what he tweeted.

I'm sure the whole town is a wreck. Please pray for them to get through this...this is a school where teachers care, where parents get involved, an overall decent and safe community.

Gina - You graduated from there? Scary!!!

It is so sad that there are people out there who are so broken that they feel this is needed. I pray for the families involved and all of the friends and other students and staff. It will be a community forever changed. :(

This is the suburb just south of mine. All of NE Ohio is on edge. I agree, the signs and opportunity to prevent this were there. TJ Lane's facebook and twitter friends could have and should have told someone.

Third kid died, rumors that a fourth also did.

Surreal. Our school colors are red and black, and people are complaining that people are going to be wearing red to show support. Ugh. Such pettiness during a major tragedy.

Juvenile detention center...I don't get it. The judge said he's to be held there for 15 days, sounds like it's possible that they'll let him out of custody after they have to renew every fifteen days or something. Nothing much mentioned about charging him as an adult except in the context of "unless there is a decision...bindover" so who makes that decision? I thought that such a decision would be made at the hearing today.

Prosecutor states Lane admitted doing it and admitting that he picked his victims at random.

I really hope it's not what it sounds like and that there's no chance of him being let out after 15 days. Why would they even think about it? Confused here...
