Army Tries Camouflaging Its Agenda on Marriage

So, how is it the military camoflaging it's "agenda" on marriage? The opinion of the person cited was that the military shouldn't be used to advance the social agenda of an administration.

You are making it sound as if the military is responsible for this, and that the military is trying to covertly promote homosexual marriage.

 

Thank you. That wasn't the article I was seeing. What was done is outrageous, and should not be tolerated. Technically speaking, I don't think that any punishment could be dealt out, as it wasn't a wedding, but a "religious ceremony". As far as I can tell from the article, no marriage certificates were signed, making it technically not illegal.

However, those involved knew what they were doing, call it a wedding or not.

I do need to point out though, that what was done doesn't mean that the military condoned it. Maybe a few officers did, and allowed it. But that doesn't mean that the military as a whole condoned it. Hopefully those involved will receive a reprimand of some sort. But we'll probably never know, because the military handles its discipline from within, and generally doesn't disclose what was done to those disciplined, especially officers.

But for my part, I am disgusted that this would be allowed to happen.

 

All this talk of joining the military to get killed is very offensive. The idea being put forth is that the military is nothing more than cannon fodder. No one should wish anyone should "join the military and get themselves killed". This is offensive not only to military, but to military families as well.
