So now that this health care has passed what are the requirements? Do you have to have insurance before 2012 tax time.....can you wait till then....last minute? What's the minimum you can get to conform to this law before they fine you?

Not all of the rules have been written yet. I believe it is January 2014 when obamacare becomes fully implemented. Not sure about the individual TAX (mandate). Like I said, not all the rules have been written yet and HHS is making them up as they go. Like Nancy Pelosi said "we have to pass the law to see what is in it."

I do know that starting January 2013, there will be a Federal Excise Tax on all medical devices, meaning if you need a stent in your heart, valve replacement, knee or hip replacement, pacemaker, or any kind of thing that can be categorized as a "medical device" and I am wondering if that includes catheters, insulin syringes, etc., as well, there will be the Federal Excise Tax that I believe is either 2.5% or 3.5% - can't remember which.
