It's not that the CFA - as a chain of restaurants - supports Biblical marriage. If that were so, then they would not hire gay people who are married, which they do. And they would not serve homosexual couples who come in holding hands - but they do.

It's that the CEO was asked a question in an interview about his personal beliefs about gay marriage and he spoke out. It's not that he came out with gun's ablazing and started shouting to world, "I support Biblical marriage".

He was being interviewed and question was asked of him. He answered honestly and truthfully. Yes, I support what he said.

I think both pro-homosexual marriage protesters of CFA and pro-Biblical marriage supporters who now suddenly want to eat at CFA are overreacting to what the man said.

His company is not a company that "fights" gay people. His company is a company that serves chicken.

He and his family - personally, not professionally - through their words and their financial support of organizations like Focus on the Family are not "anti-gay people". They are supporters of Biblical marriages.

If they were "anti-gay people" - then they would not hire them nor serve them.

As I've said before, they are old family friends. And what you say is true. .But I think we are getting a 21st century glimpse of what persecution of the Church looks like.

No they are not anti-gay but that doesn't stop the media from painting the organization as anti-gay because of Dan's statements. It's the same way that the media will paint someone as a racist just because a comment is made that might offend Blacks.
