Better to let them get pregnant? Plus they already dispense condoms.

Liberals always think strangers are better at raising our kids than we are.

We're talking about a hormonal medication. We're talking about parents' rights to raise their children. Again, schools don't dispense Tylenol to a child with a headache. In order to carry an inhaler, a child needs a doctor's note and a parent's note. But go ahead and give a girl a medication without telling her parents.

Yes, they already dispense condoms. Condoms will not mess with body chemistry. Plan B does not prevent STDs either. Are they giving any counseling on the fact that pregnancy is the LEAST of the girls' worry if there is an STD present? Yeah, didn't think so.

They should skip the meds and sign up the girls for welfare?

A counselor at one of the high schools here told a friends son, "It's OK. You only need a C to pass."

Add that to the schools twisted sex ed, revisionist history and subpar standards, the medication issue, and violation of parental rights and you know why we home school.

The name itself is misleading. It can be taken 3 days after, and they are now trying to put Ella, a week after pill, on the market.

No, there are only a few rare cases where a child should be able to obtain this type of medication without parental permission.

People also need to get the idea out of their heads that the so-called morning after pill or week after pill isn't an abortion pill.

It is ridiculous that kids with asthma often have to walk a long way to the office during an attack to get their own inhaler for a true medical problem and must have parental permission and sometimes a note from a doctor just for Tylenol or prescription meds, but they can get a pill that is essentially giving them an abortion, and the parents don't have the right to know their child is having this done? That is CRAZY!

Then again, it's been going on a long time. When I was in high school, the school was allowed to help a student get an abortion without alerting the parents to the situation. It's not a new concept, but actually having it given out at the school, where it can be taken, should be considered as dangerous as non-medical personnel performing a medical procedure on your child, which IS illegal. Good grief, I got a phone call from the school to come remove a splinter from one of my kids when she was younger. It was illegal for the school to do it because it is considered a medical procedure, so I had to leave work and drive up there with my medical equipment (tweezers) to perform the operation on my child. LOL Silliness...

But now it'll be okay to help one of my kids abort their own kid should they get pregnant, and they won't tell me?

God bless America. She needs it desperately.
