Reports are that the two suspects that have been identified by the FBI killed an MIT police officer and got caught in a gun battle with Mass police which included more explosives as well. Suspect # 1 was shot and killed and suspect # 2 is still at large. Another pressure cooker bomb was discovered on the scene in Watertown Mass.

Further reports are that public trans is shut down. People have been asked not to pen businesses or gather anywhere outside. They are being asked to stay home. The explosives found and used are considered military grade.

I hope the capture the other fellow alive so he can be questioned concerning why they conducted such a horrible attack ... and to determine if others were involved and/or if they had backing from a foreign terrorist group. They lock him up in a Super-max prison for the rest of his life.

1 Boston Marathon bombing suspect dead, another on the run, authorities say

BREAKING NEWS: One of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing is dead after the killing of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer and a shootout with police, and a massive manhunt is underway for the other, authorities said early Friday.

Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said on Twitter that one of the two suspects was killed and that the at-large suspect, labeled by the FBI as "suspect two" in the marathon bombing, was "armed and dangerous."

"We believe this to be a terrorist," Davis said in a press conference. "We believe this to be a man who's come here to kill people. We need to get him in custody."

Nothing less than the death penalty. Nothing less.

Being in prison for all his natural life is a death sentence, and a worse one then execution. Being locked in a room, a small room at that, with no view, except a small one of the sky, is much worse than being put to death. Give him years to think on his crime and long for his freedom. Execution is to liberal a sentence.

Execution is a conservative position. It is consistent with the standards of God and with the history in this country.

The Mass bombers are identified as brothers from Chechnya. They have been in the country for a little over a year.

I consider it quite liberal in that it allows the criminal to escape years and years of contemplating their crime and their loss of freedom.

Which would you consider the harsher punishment if it were you:

Execution

or

Years of basically solitary confinement in a Super-Max?

I would welcome execution over the latter. I would say, "Thank you for your liberal sentence."

I do not care what you consider it. Your moral values are inferior and ungodly.

To call someone a "skunk", "ungodly" and "inferior" ... what am I led to believe other than that you do not consider me a brother in Christ?

Again more dishonesty I did not call you any of that. There is a clear distinction between the "person" and their "moral values". Your posts of quotes from people who hate God that you esteem as "reasonable shows your heart. Your dishonesty in replying to my posts exposes your heart. Your support of planned parenthood is absolutely reprehensible and pure evil.

I presume the use of the word liberal is meant to imply a measure of leniency.

Man's prime instinct is self-preservation. Which is more liberal, to ensure to some extent that that need is met or to deprive the murderer of that which instinct says is most precious to him?

I can only speak for myself. But I would consider it much more lenient to be executed than to be kept in a Super-max cell the rest of my life ... and that would not be nearly so long as the fellow in Boston. It appears he is in his 20's. If he were to live to my age that would mean 50 or more years of solitary. That, to me, is not lenient.

That is why I consider execution both lenient and liberal.

Crabtownboy, here's what I would like to happen to this low life. I'd like his arms and legs cut off, eyes taken out, and ears pierced, making him totally invalid and dependent on the kindness of others even in the matter of "cleaning" himself, and then put him in prison for life, and I mean FOR LIFE.
But I no longer trust America of today.
One day some liberal will come along and argue that the punishment does not fit the crime and lo and behold this low life of low living bacteria will be walking around in the world again, bitter and mean as ever.
Years ago in the Philippines a 35 year old man murdered a father in front of his 10 year old son. They sent him to prison, with a life sentence, which means that basically he will be a free man in 15 years with good behavior.
Fifteen years later he was freed.
One day later the son, who was 25 at that time, abducted him (who was already 50), brought him to a farm, poured kerosene on him, watched him burn for a while, then put out the fire, brought him to hospital, and gave himself up to the police.
His father's murderer suffered third degree burns horribly and you know how burns can hinder your mobility after it heals and scars.
The worse they could do was charge the son with serious physical injuries, which metes out a jail term of one year, one month, out in 8, and the fact that he voluntarily gave himself up, and brought his victim to hospital, mitigated his crime further, and all he got was three months, while his father's murderer was an invalid FOR LIFE.
THAT IS SWEET JUSTICE.
But that is not God's way.
God's way is instant and swift execution.

I would hope this never came about. Naturally I cannot predict the future, but I expect this will not happen.

Let him sit on his concrete bed and consider what he has done and what he has lost. That, to me, would be a horrible punishment, more horrible than an easy death from an injection.
