In the heat of the day yesterday, barely noticible, I find a bluejay chick struggling to live in the grass of a road median. So I look around, and the entire nest was knocked out of the tree. There were 5 chicks, 2 were already dead & had this one not stuck his beak up in the air for food, I would have never noticed.
I took 3 home, thinking that two would never survive....but with some coaxing all 3 are eating (Alpo & worms). I do raise chikens...but this is a little different. Anybody have any tips?
