    This investigation comes to fruition mere hours before the FSU football team heads to Charlotte for the ACC championship game that, if FSU wins, will put them in the national championship game. It comes mere days before the Heisman voting is to be complete.

    So let me ask us all to hypothesize:

    A young man, also an FSU student, but not on the football team and not a favorite for the Heisman trophy, gets accused by the same young woman after the same "incident": Does the investigation take a year, and does it close with no charges filed?

    Just askin' ...

    Just found this;

    The State Attorney's office went after every lead. It tested everything it could. It followed every bit of evidence. An office with a reputation for pursuing FSU athletes more aggressively than regular students did what it could do. Meggs encouraged the community to read the full report when it becomes public and make up its own mind on his decision. If the public has suggestions, he said he'd listen to them.

    Two thoughts....

    1) There have been several men recently released from prison for rapes that were later found to be falsely reported by women. Maybe, JUST maybe, law enforce is trying to make sure this doesn't happen again?

    2) This kid is leading his team to National prominence, and that can only mean that he fills seats in stadiums and helps networks get higher ratings.

    So, you be the judge. It is either one or the other, or a little of both, but in the end, young ladies victimized by rapists, have been dealt a bad hand!

    Of course, the young ladies that cried wolf, more than once, are partially to blame, too! :type:

    Did you have the same number of questions when the Mizzou coach was arrested or when Mizzou players were suspended?

    Pinkel turned himself in to his athletic director and suspended himself from practice and accepted the Big XII conference's one-game suspension for DUI. When Derrick Washington was called into Pinkel's office after being bonded out on sexual assault charges in 2010, telling the star running back he would ask assistance from the law school in helping him locate a competent lawyer, help him get counseling, whatever the young man needed, but he followed that by telling him he was no longer a Missouri Tiger.

    That's the difference between running an above-board program, and not. Mizzou has one of the best records in the NCAA for running a tight ship. Quite obviously, Florida State does not.

    They are all cheaters. There is no such thing as an "above-board" program in todays world of college football. Does not matter if it is Mizzou or FSU or whoever. It is about winning and about $$$$.

    The details of this story read as though the accuser had sex with multiple guys in front of multiple people. It's kinda difficult to press rape charges when folks and DNA show you having sex with multiple guys at the time you say one whom others saw having sex with you raped you.

    This wole ordeal speaks to a level of nastiness and hedonism amongst people that's right up there with Sodom.
