Nice move, Rand. Sensational story, sensational reaction. Gets your name out there, commentators are bound to mention you as being mentioned in the GOP nomination mix. Bravo.

Political ploy, through and through. Nonetheless, count me in. I own a cell phone.

Don't expect me to support Paul for the GOP nomination, though.

You don't think the NSA should be sued over this?

I said "count me in," did I not? I'd rather someone not trying to score points for his presidential run was leading the charge.

    Presidential hopefuls should be leaders.

Leaders, yes. But this isn't about leadership. It is about publicity. If it was about leadership, he would have gotten a trial lawyer who is still working full time to represent the class, and lent financial and legal support to it while continuing to do his job representing the interests of the people of Kentucky. In fact, I suspect that is exactly what he is going to do. He's just putting his name on the lawsuit for the media coverage it will get. A sitting United States senator doesn't have time to herd a class action case through the court system.

So he's nothing more than a headline monger. Just like most of the rest of them.
If you'd bother to find out who I do support for president, you'd know how utterly wrong that characterization is. But you didn't bother. You just assume -- wrongly.

Carson, with zilch political experience, backed by The Christian Coalition, CUFA, and who knows what other Christian Zionist organizations, WOULD BE PUTTY in the hands of the neocons when it comes to foreign policy.

It's actually a little early yet, as things unfold towards 2016 it will become clear whether he actually sincerely puts America first. Trust me, if I'm still around then, I'll be on it 'like a chicken on a June Bug.'

I think you'd be well off to acquaint yourself with Ben Carson's opinion of career politicians and the state of the Republican Party. It's obvious what you think he is, isn't even close to correct.

As I said, it's early yet. We need a good man, I like Paul, you've already told me on another thread you prefer Carson over Paul.

Paul has experience, Carson doesn't, and what's worse is he might be a Dispensationalist which is absolutely the last thing we need in the Whitehouse.

Really? You'd reject Carson because he's a Dispensationalist, but you accept Paul when he's a member of the Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, a PCUSA church? Really??

    Absolutely.

You actually want someone in there that believes we're in the last days and this entity that goes by the name of Israel is God's Chosen and the major player in the last days?

Seriously, you want an Armageddon Lobby sort in there for POTUS?

Bush believes that. We're still here. Reagan believed that. We're still here. Even Carter believes that. We're still here.

    C'mon, KRN! That's absurd!

17 trillion dollars in debt later, God has really blessed us for our unconditional support to Likud. Our children's children's children will not be able to pay it off, and that's IF the U.S. even still exists as we know it today. Yea, thank you George.

That was early days before the power of the Israel Lobby had became apparent. I think Reagan would have balked before being drawn into the unmitigated disasters that Dubya plunged us headlong into. He immediately recognized the humongous error of committing to the ME after the Beirut barracks bombings and got us the sheep outta there.

Carter was a true Christian peacemaker after the religion of Jesus Christ, NOT the warmonger of the current doomsday demented Christian Zionists.

The warmongering of the dispy right wingnuts who push for even MORE WAR is what's absurd.

I'm actually glad and thank God that Obama is in right now and pray he will do as he says and veto any bill that comes before him that enables another country to dictate when we, the United States of America, go to war.

The $17 trillion debt lies at the feet of the Great Pretender, not GWB, who had to fight two wars against terrorism that Dear Leader is now retreating from so fast, the "decimated" terrorist group one of our members here claims doesn't exist has now capture Fallujah. And we're talking about end times, not deficits, here anyway.

"Unmitigated disasters"??? Al-Qaeda wouldn't have thought about capturing Fallujah under Bush. Today, with our Ignoble Traitor having just given up and withdrawn, they did so. You have a lot to learn about what is "unmitigated" in the way of disasters.

Yeah, that being one of his great blunders. Had he responded in force, the terrorists that drew encouragement from that attack would never have had the nerve to try blowing up WTC in '93 (after being emboldened by the Clinton election, figuring he wouldn't do squat -- and he didn't) -- and certainly wouldn't have found the nerve to fly airplanes into it eight years later.

This statement stands in infamy, indicating your complete ignorance of who Jesus was. It also explains why you reject biblical truth regarding the coming judgment, as you obviously can't conceive of our Savior with a sword in His hand.

This statement is the one that convinces me you have utter lack of understanding in virtually any discussion of importance.
