What do I think of his statement? Here the whole thing. Scroll down a little.

I think it was his moment in a pagan and secular arena and he can say whatever he wants to say.
As far as his claiming that "God graced him" with the movie roles he plays - well, that's just a bunch of bull excrement.
God "graced him" with the opportunity to play Magic Mike? Really? Ironically, a man's movie about a group of men (who just happen to be strippers - but whom you never see stripping fully) initiating a younger man into the world of drugs, liquor, wanton sex with as many women as he chooses, and true vile behavior.
God "graced him" to play in
The Wolf of Wall Street that contained
506 "f" words and at least 23
GRAPHIC sex scenes that caused the movie to initially get a "X" rating? (Not just graphic female nudity, but 23 scenes of graphic sex. (The one scene of male nudity was done with a prosthetic.)
I didn't see either one of these movies, but I have acquaintances who did. I just had to wonder - what's the pull?
So - I read the parent advisory on the IMDB for both and although I'm not shockable - I was
sickened by the content of both of these films. The content on IMDB is clinically reported - no judgment, no warning, just a list of all things that a parent may not want their child to see.
I'm not shocked that Hollywood produces these films, but shocked that people I know would pay money to view them.
So Matthew believe God "graced him" with these opportunities?
Apparently many other Christians do to because all over Facebook is Christians hailing Matthew's name for mentioning God.
I don't get it. :BangHead:
