I just watched a 30 second commercial on the ASPCA. It was a well know actor pitching for poor mistreated dogs. I see these commercials everyday and they are numerous. So why don't we even see one commercial showing pictures of ultrasound babies in the womb with an actor pitching for someone to save them from the abortion doctor?

Maybe dogs and cats are more precious in America? Food for though.

    As a dog owner....

I appreciate those ads. However, I completely agree with you about abortion! I think the reason they do this for pets is because too many people would be convicted about the abortion issue, and we certainly wouldn't want to offend, convict, challenge, question, or judge everything from birth control pills to abortion, at any term! Saving a little kitten or abused puppy is so rewarding. And it really is. I have had mostly rescue pets, and felt like I did my part in helping to put some end to animal abuse and the needless killing of abandoned pets!

If people would merely neuter their pets. But that is for another post!

We kill more babies by way of abortion than any war has ever killed! However, we don't see the "Peaceniks" out carry signs and protecting with sit-ins about killing babies!

We live in a maladjusted world. A world with morals that are selective and adjusted to making money, and appease the hearts and minds of those we need to demonstrate toleration towards; and political correctness to.

How many folks would want to know the truth about birth control pills causing a natural physical abortion every month? The shrinks would be working 24/7 to counsel all those who have been misled for a lifetime of medical miracles, which is what they refer to birth control pills as! Believe me, I am guilty for encouraging my wife to use BCP's, but I never had the truth to make a clear and solidly morla decision! Still, I was as bad as those who never told us!:tear:

    Hi Dude, how are you?

I didn't ever realize that about the pill. I too encouraged my wife to take them and if she ever knew that she would have never used them.

I wasn't trying to diminish the dogs and cats in my post, I hope it didn't come across that way. We have a house full of them and we love them very much. But I love my Granddaughter much much more. That is what I cannot understand from all these actors who sob over a mistreated cat and never once show their concern for an unborn baby in the hands of an abortion doctor.

I guess I'm going to have to start reading Randy Alcorn. Seems like he is well liked by many Christians. Thanks for the recommendation.

I haven't seen any commercials of ultrasound puppies in the womb, could you point me to a link?

    Maybe your analogy is flawed.

Maybe it is a flawed analogy but you have to admit we don't see any pro-life or should I say anti-abortion ads or PSAs.

If you watch much TV it is obvious by the commercial ads that the plight of animals is more important than the unborn human. We see a lot of money spent to save puppies and kittens, and we even see money spent to save starving kids in poor countries (this is good), but we don't see any money spent on saving kids from abortion doctors.

Here in Minnesota there are lots of pro life billboards, lots of radio ads, print ads, etc.

And who's fault is that? For some reason pro life lobbyists don't do much TV advertising. For another, animal humane activists have found television ads to be highly effective to their cause. A suffering puppy is a powerful visual image, more so than a sketchy ultrasound image. They must be working because they are on all the time. I don't think it's because people think abandoned pets are more important than unborn babies.

When did the lives of dogs become more important than the lives of humans? People get all up in arms over unborn dogs being aborted, but support the legalized murder and wholesale slaughter of unborn humans.

So, unborn pups are considered to be real dogs and alive, while unborn human babies are just fetuses and not human or alive? Whatever happened to our humanity?

Could you please point out someone or some organization that is "up in arms" about unborn dogs being aborted?
