There's a difference, Brother, between intolerance for "divergent views" and in criticizing an unpatriotic attitude that is unwilling to support the cause of liberty at any cost. You seem to fail to understand how dire the situation is here at home. It has been repeatedly pointed out to you that the president's agenda is diametrically opposed to American interests, his theory of government is contrary to the laws of the land, and that his corruption and illegal acts should be subject to prosecution. One thing I do know. This kind of intolerance for divergent views is indeed not part of the America I treasure and it is what I most fear in what will be left of America if these wars come.
Yet those we have elected to public office refuse to take action against him, further eroding the checks and balances of power and setting up the very real potential for dictatorship, totalitarianism, and the establishment of a proven failed form of government, socialism.
We have quoted to you the principles upon which our founders broke faith with their government both in the Colonies and in England, principles which still stand today and which should be enacted now just as they were then, when it becomes necessary. It is not yet necessary, as I stated in that long post which you essentially ignored, choosing instead to pick out the most distasteful portion of it to expand upon -- the possible need for armed action.
You have stated an unwillingness to engage in such, even though repeatedly throughout our history we have engaged in just such action to defend our liberty and freedom.
I have been harsh with you, and I suppose too harsh. But the circumstances today in the United States are of severe nature, and the thoughts of every American who loves his country and wants to see it survive rather than to become a 21st Century Soviet Union need to consider what alternatives are available.
We still have the ballot box. With a bit over four months to go before the elections, we have hope. But we must also be ready. I am not confident the dumbed-down American public is capable of making a rational decision vs. choosing for their own comfort, but I am not nearly as concerned for an outcome based on selfishness as I am not at all confident that the Democratic machine operating in Washington on the same principles as the one in Chicago will not also steal this election, thus solidifying our fate and requiring the aforementioned rebellion.
I will not find that exciting, enlightening, nor will I be enthusiastic about it. It is a horrible thing to consider circumstances requiring one to rise up against his government. But if need be, I will. You must be brought to a point of realization of how close we are to that necessity.
These posts have been a wake up call to you. I don't think you understand the seriousness of the situation, as your news is being filtered through a media that does not understand nor grasp the American spirit. Under the man in the presidency, the United States is on its death bed, and only the resuscitation applied by patriots working for the cause of its survival will see to it that it does.
