A group of patriots did America proud today — standing up against Barack Obama’s lawless mass amnesty. In doing so, they stopped his illegal alien express in its tracks, and inspired other communities to follow suit.

A crowd of 200 to 300 people in downtown Murrieta, California surrounded three buses carrying illegal aliens Tuesday afternoon in a tense standoff, causing the buses to turn around before they reached a Border Patrol station in the Riverside County city.

Waving Americans flags and protest signs, the crowd refused to give way when the buses arrived with some 140 illegals from Texas, which has seen a flood of Central American illegals cross the border in recent weeks without permission.

A small number of Murrieta police officers stood between the protesters and the buses but could not keep the crowd from blocking the buses’ path.

All America Needs to Be More Like Murrieta, CA!

THIS IS A DOUBLE POST .... and I humbly apologize to Rev MItchell! Not intended to steal his glory! However, I am posting with a different view. I hope more americans will do what this conservative city did! It may change the tide on illegal immigration!

    SEE: http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-immigrants-murrieta-20140701-story.html#page=1

Murrieta is about 15 miles from where I live, so I watched with interest as the mayor, his council members and a large group of citizens gathered at the US Border Patrol Station in their city and forced the three buses filled with illegals, to reroute and go to San Ysidro.

I couldn't be more proud of this city for taking a stand and doing what is needed to be done all over this nation! If other communities rallied like this city and didn't allow the buses of illegals to unload at the planned destinations, maybe this President and all the others who were elected to protect this country from an ever growing invasion of illegal immigrants, would get the message and COURAGE to do what should have been done when this began nearly a year ago. That is send them RIGHT back. No processing, no medical aid, no promise to help them reunite with their illegal family members already in America!

If that sounds inhumane, I am sorry. However, there needs to be a strong signal to these adults and children they sent, that America is NO LONGER OPEN for business as usual!

I applaud their efforts ... and pray other communities do the same .... :applause:......:applause:.......:applause:

    Sorry!

I guess I should make sure to make better use of my blended bi-focals! It was an accident. You do know what those are? No attempt to one up you! However, my post came at this from a different point of view. I don't think that is a bad thing! I gave more of an opinion as I am only miles from the possible flash point, and I'd like to see more Americans do the same!! Again, sorry Rev.

There was also a crowd about the same size, waving [Mexican flags] and protesting the protesters. It got a little dicey and if it happens again, it may even get a little bloody! Let's pray it doesn't!

I think it's time to get bloody.

I think it's time good people stood up and draw a line in the sand.

Incidentally, notice that the Mexican protesters are just proving the American protestors' point.

Notice that they're carrying Mexican flags.

That's just more evidence that they don't come here to become Americans, but to turn America into Mexico.

I agree. I believed it would come to this when Obama was elected, and everyone told me I was reactionary. However, the time is coming when we need to hold our government accountable, or replace it, one way or another.

"I think it's time good people stood up and draw a line in the sand." (Oh our illustrious leader has done that a few times already but it didn't work out to well :)

AGREE and I applaud those that are doing it down there. As long as they have them on buses why not do a southbound trip to the border and let Mexico have a taste of things.

    Well ....

..... while I feel for you and what others are doing ... I did not mean in any way to up stage you by posting a similar post! I can see why you are frustrated, but the tone in your comments is unbecoming of a man of your stature on the board! I apologised, and got no response! Franlkly, I am tired of aologizing to people on this baord who are disgusted enough to shame someone for a mistake, but not caring enough to write back and accept the apology! It takes two, and in this case it still at one! No more groveling on my behalf!

As long as these protesters express there displeasure through peaceful means I fully support them. Peaceful protest has a long and noble history and it can affect change.

    Would LIke to Agree....

..... but I think it is a one time thing. I think this city will continue to blcok the road, but the buses went to three other so cal sites, and were welcome by mixican groups with signs saying we love you, welcome friends, and America loves you!

Not enough Americans are into what is happening, or maybe they lack any real care their nation is being over run by illegals!

And yet neither the president nor the House are willing to work together to do anything about the crisis. The stubbornness of the president and the obstructionism of the republicans in the House share responsibility.

Perhaps these peaceful protest will wake Washington up. Historically peaceful protest have successfully brought about change.

The answer, or course, is not bloodshed.

THAT would be a crisis in which everyone would lose.

I'd love to know how refusal to author, debate or pass an "immigration reform bill" of the type Obama wants is "obstructionist." He wants Congress to open the borders. It ain't gonna happen. It shouldn't happen. This debacle is all his, the Senate's and the politicians in ICE who refuse to let border agents and investigators follow their instincts and do their job. There is nothing "obstructionist" about keeping the borders secure, such as they are.

There has been no obstructionism by the GOP. There are hundreds of bill sent to the Senate that never saw the ight of day because of harry Reid. The Obstructionism is Reid and the Dems in the Senate.
