There was at least one member who believes the recent poll on Obama as the worst POTUS since WW2 was skewed. So, I thought, let's give that person the benefit of the doubt and take a poll here and now and see what Baptists in general think?

This poll is skewed because I didn't have 12 slots in the poll, so I only went as far back as JFK, sorry! But, this should be an honest poll is enough of you take it!

You don't really think the BB is truly reflective of the general Baptist community?

Your reference to George W. as " 'Lil Bush" is an insult to the man, RD2. You used last names for everyone else, and referenced his dad as "Sr." You couldn't use "Jr." or "GW" for the son?

I decided, after being called on it and some soul-searching, to stop using name-calling in referring to Obama. It isn't any more right to use such references to other presidents than it is to him.

It will be an honest poll of this BB, but this BB does not represent a good cross section of the US population. I am sure I know how it will come out. Will be interesting to watch. Looking over you list I believe none of these folk will go down as great presidents.

No this BB is not representative of Baptists in general and certainly not that of the American public.

But true Baptists, as I was taught by the good country folk where I grew up, will discuss without calling names. I am sure if there was an Internet back then they would had added and not put up ridiculous graphics.

Baptists overall are not as conservative and backbiting as is represented on this BB.

They admit when they're wrong. And the also don't lie about those who disagree with them. Baptists DEFINITELY don't attack Paul's epistles as "not the word of God".

Do you hold yourself as an example ?

Believe me when I say ....

.... there was no distrespect meant ... BUT for those who were offended, I humbly apologize. I was simply toying with the idea of Bush Jr. or what I used and TND felt was dissing him!

I personally loved Bush, like Reagan, because neither of them took anything off our neighboring enemies. The only problem with rEagan ws his amnesty bill, and Bush signed a bill before he went out of office, stateing that any children from any country OTHER than Mexico, could remain here if they got here!

That along with the Dream Act by BHO has underscored this flood of illegals refugees!

But, it is that bill, signed by Bush, that Obama is doing an execuutive order to quash. It may have been a good thing that Bush signed that bill, because it looks like BHOS's hate of Bush is the imetus behind his taking executive action to speed up deportation of the children.

Of course, now we must wait and see if this is more talk and no action from BHO!

Again, sorry about any inferred dissing of George W., as that as not my intent! :type:
