Harry Reid is probably one more reason for mandatory age limits when it comes to politicians! He is either suffering early stages of dementia, or he is hitting the kool aid again when he can stand in front of television cameras and blatantly tell the nation that the borders are "unequivocally secure!"

    http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2014/07/15/Harry-Reid-The-Border-Is-Secure

To be fair to ol' Harry, I will say that in a sense, depending on which direction he is looking, the borders are secure. According to California and Arizona, they have caused the infiltration by illegals and drug cartels to become like a drippy faucet. However, heading on into New Mexico and then Texas, those borders are far from secure!

Once again, if Obama, and now Reid, would go visit Laredo or El Paso, or other border towns and the detention centers, they'd have to admit there is a problem. Well, they don't have to admit anything, but it would be more difficult for them to spin and lie about what they see!

So, should we have mandatory age limits for ALL politicians, nationwide, including are local governments?

Harry Reid is the epitome of unmasked Mormonism.

As for age limitations, you seem to be against the nomination of Hillary!

Should we take away an older person's freedom to run for a political office?

    AND

Should we take away people's freedom to vote for an older candidate?

    Answer is a resounding NO!

Seems more like a DNC tactic rather than letting a vote decide.

It'd be interesting to read what Ronald Reagan's ideas regarding age limits would be for a politician since he was 72 when he assumed the office of President; and, in fact, used his age as positive factor when he campaigned for re-election in 1984.

The only elective federal office that is Constitutionally limited (the 22nd Amendment) is that of the President.

I read of proposals that would term limit US senators to two terms (12 years in office) and six terms for US representatives (also covering 12 years).

While such proposals as these would be fine with me, I seriously doubt that they'd ever get very far due to the fact that most all of the amendments we have in our Constitution have been ones that have originated in the Congress.

Be a lot simpler if we just stopped putting up with all the violations of the constitution from both parties but as long as the corporate media and crooked politicians can keep us all divided and arguing among ourselves the slide into totalitarian government and the New "international community" Order will continue.
