This show - Satisfaction - is going to glorify adultery and fornication. Thought you should be looking for it to make sure you or your family do not accidently watch it! It's on USA channel!

I happened on a show the other night (Dating Naked) and there they were! Two couples standing there as naked as Ethel, being interviewed by some woman fully dressed and if it wasn't for the "blurring effect" we wouldn't have had to ask any questions. It was amazing! By next season this "blurring effect" will be old hat and those being interviewed will be so proud of 'demselves.

Moral decay is a terrible rot. I remember how things were as a kid and I am almost 70..., well, some of you know what I'm saying here.

Things have gotten so bad that even on this forum there's a Warning!!!

Mark Twain commented once that, "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society". I don't think that's so now-a-days.

    Lord have mercy on us.

I would point you both to the last statement in my signature.

Yeah. Seen your last statement. So, you wouldn't call the police if a lost man burglarized your house?

No. Nothing in that statement implies that. I would call the police. If I happened to be home, I'd hold him at gunpoint until they arrived.

I guess you missed the point.

...yep, I guess I missed the point myself. Ain't no anger in me over this Dating Naked show. Shocked perhaps but not angry. As for being slow that just comes with my age.

I'm not surprised at the world or TV anymore. It's only going to get worse. Just gotta be wise and not hesitant about saying no to it.

We don't have cable or tv (we decided to not have it the first year of being married but we watch movies now and then)...if we did have it we'd probably only watch a few channels, and I feel like it wouldn't be worth the $.

There's also Naked and Afraid. Some idiot reality show where two people of the opposite sex go naked and assumedly afraid into jungles around the world and try to survive w/out survival food and supplies. Hopefully they catch something or get some minute beetle crawl up and inside their lower orifices.

I'll bet it won't be long when the sodomites and the lezzies demand same s3x morons also be given the chance to be "reality" stars in shows like these, too.

And then there was the freak on 'The Late Late Show' the other night that sang about wishing the Virgin had had an abortion. TV, while pretty much having always been a cesspool, has definitely gotten worse within the last few years.

I tried to listen to that song. She could have sung anything, from what I could tell, her screaming was so unintelligible. Perhaps we should suggest the special-interest liberals use her as their official anthem singer all the time.

I can't figure out how y'all know so much about these programs unless you are watching them. There are enough Christians to make an impact. Don't whine about them if you are watching them.

Stop watching, advertisers will withdraw their funds and the shows will change.

Ever hear of You.Tube? Sheez!

See, it works like this: Someone on BB posts about something they read or got an email about, with a You.Tube link. Then they post the link, too. And we all watch it. Get a clue, CTB, buy a vowel, do something, please!

If I will not watch trash on TV why would I watch trash on You Tube?

So your theory is that "to be in the world but not of the world" is to hide from the world?

How's that working out for you? How do you know what to speak out against? How do you know from where the latest attack on your faith is coming from? How do you find out anything about the course of the world?

And how did you become a Democrat if you don't follow what the world is up to?

Not at all. But I will not encourage pornography by watching it and enriching others in the process.

It is no attack on MY faith. My faith is secure. By watching you are encouraging them. By watching you are giving tacit approval.

Also by going out into the world to help others and not sitting on the sofa watching porn.

They, at the moment, are the lesser of two evils.

 I saw the second named show on the cable guide as I was looking for something to watch last night. Why are people watching MTV and VH1? Really not shocking to me, though, that the high and mighty around here are watching channels that all us "liberal Christians" wouldn't watch. For people so against the homosexual lifestyle and the immodesty of the modern world they sure seem to spend a lot of time viewing it. I see a show on VH1 called Naked Dating and I sure won't be tuning it to see how awful it is. The name and the channel is enough for me.

The obvious question is, if you won't watch "pornography" how do you know what it is?

Your claims to such purity would be admirable if they weren't totally false. Your arrogance is only exceeded by your poor opinion of others on this board.

:applause::applause: Exactly. That's why it's ridiculous for us to point the finger at the scourge that is the homosexual sin pervading everything if we're not gonna point the same finger at the heterosexual fornication and lust in the programs and movies we obviously so regularly watch.

Amazingly what I've found in developing relationships with lost people in the US is that they will listen to you if there's something noticeably different about your Christian walk. If you come across as a real person who isn't hypocritically partaking of and doing the same things they are, you've got a platform upon which to befriend them and start pointing them towards Christ.
