19 Reasons to Protest Illegal's ....

Send the bad guys to Devil's Island, do away with death rows. Most of the people incarcerated in our jails are there on drug related crimes. Most of the crime in our cities is drug related. Our drug interdiction efforts continue to fail. Many in high places are bought off and/or extorted.

Now what?

We are fast approaching the Days of Noah according to scripture; which is another sign of the end of time as we know it.

Are we ready?

Challenge: legally adopt one or two illegal children. Tell them about Jesus. There is a real blessing.

 

Christian reasons to help them.

I was a stranger and ye took me in.
I was hungry and ye fed me.
I was naked and ye clothed me.
I was thirsty and ye gave me drink.

Secular and political reasons to not help them will not cut it at the last judgement.

 

This is a misnomer. While most of the people incarcerated in prison or jail in the U.S. are problem users if not outright addicts, only six percent of them are in prison or jail specifically for drug-related crimes. The rest are there for theft, burglary, armed criminal assault or murder -- all committed while drunk, high or in search of money to become drunk or high. That isn't truly "drug related" in that being drunk or high isn't an excuse for committing a felony, or a misdemeanor for that matter. That is crime that is committed as a result of being addicted. It requires treatment, yes, but they've also go to answer for their other acts.

But again, those "drug related" crimes are the result of drug use, but are not "drug crimes." Whether property crimes or crimes against persons, they are still responsible for having committed them regardless of the cause of their mindset at the time.

Drug interdiction efforts may fail, but God help us if there were no interdiction efforts at all.

Excellent idea. But how many people have the resources to take in poor, uneducated "ESL" children who may not be the healthiest to begin with? And how can you adopt a child who parents are not dead, but simply in another country? That is going to provide a legal entanglement it could take years and lots of $$ to sort out. Most will be unable to afford the cost or the effort.
