    So what would you have done in Iraq had you been (in some horrifically dystopian alternate universe) in the Oval Office at that time? Obama tried to keep a residual US force in Iraq which fell through due to disputes over the legal status of American troops stationed there.

    No he didn't. He tried to act like that was what he was doing all the while sabotaging the whole thing. However, that is not what the op was about. He made a claim that showed he was trying to make it look like it was better off that it was. In other words like ususal he lied. And by the way everthing Romney preddicted in his debates with Obama has now come true. Everything Obama made fun on him for and mocked him about has not come true.

    And if this is what he meant when he said, Al Quaida was on the run, I sure hope that Bin Ladan is really dead?
