Two state troopers in PA ambushed ....

    Is it me, or has there been an increase in shootings and ambushes of police this year?

    Just two weeks ago, a city cop and his rookie partner were ambushed a few miles from where we live, and there was that ambush of two Vegas cops at a pizza shop. Last month a guy walked into an LA Precinct and opened fire.

    I am sure there are more local stories like the one in a city near us not making national attention. I was wondering what could be behind this "open season"on cops? So what are your views as to why?

    One has to only see and hear about things like this to understand why our cops are more jumpy, and quick to pull the trigger in threatening situations. I know I'd be more frosty with these ambushes, and shootings of fellow law enforcement personnel.

    This may not be terrorism so to speak, but it is domestic terrorism nonetheless!

    who caaaaaaaares ? they just cops. they pigs. they ain' nuth'n. their fam'lies don' mean nuth'n. they ain' worth nobody's tahm an' 'specially ef they white boys. boohoohoo if they got babies, but they shouldna nevah ha' put on that un'foam an' turn theyselves to legal snitches.

    MSM doesn't seem to think a cop, black, white, latino, or asian and everything else in between, being killed is news, until it's the cop killing a mean-or'ty. That's when the news truck rolls, and the top crime rep puts on the make-up, and then they look at the stats the following morning.

    I am going right past there today....wonder if they will stop me ....going to the Sons of Felittese Festival....Our Lady of Constantinople...I'm a defendant Lol. I will make the best of it and buy a sausage & pepper sausage.

    I'm going to see my uncle...perhaps for the last time.....he has pancreas cancer. Also to put grass seed on my families graves. Maybe I will switch to the fried tripe.....maybe a meatball sandwich.

    I'd like to know more about the shooters in all these incidents...what they might have in common. The police may know something, but they're not telling. I understand that and don't blame them.

    Ice cream truck ambushed in San Bernardino, CA

    Just in, late night news KABC - 7, a gunman opened fire on an ice cream truck surrounded by kids. The gunman than ran into a house and held police at gunpoint for hours. He finally was taken into custody.

    I served as chaplain and worship leader for Cops-4-Christ

    For four years, plus I worked with local, county and state police for 15 years, and came to know them as brothers who loved Jesus and deserved our respect as much as those in the armed services.

    During the course and scope of my career in youth diversion services and child care licensing I observed cops up close, and serious situations where I even had to wear a vest. I was scared when guns were drawn, especially because I had no gun. I was trusting in God and the men in blue to protect me from bad situations.

    You are correct about news only caring about a white cop shooting a black person. Man our society is messed up real bad.
