This was actually something special for the area of California that I live in .... however, it seems that nothing Obama does come easy these days?

By naming this mountain range as a National Monument, it seems that residents of the communities nestled within the new monument area and the County of San Bernardino, which composes a good part of the area designated, were not consulted, or advised of this action. Receiving only a short notice of this action, and it left many people wondering what this designation will mean to the property they own and how it will affect them in the long run!

Let me say, I like what he did .... but once again, he seemed to be catering to a few, and not listening or talking with the many! This is why he is losing popularity among Californians!

Do you think Obama should have taken this plan to the people and heard their concerns before making this designation? :wavey:

It's unconstitutional even to call them the "San Gabriel" Mountains.

But that is what they've been named for as long as I can remember. I don't quite understand your response. Please explain. Thanks....
