..."Krauthammer: Well, the desperation and the ad hominems come into play when you don’t have any arguments. the 2010 election, the shellacking the Democrats took was about ideology. It was about liberal overreach–the stimulus, Obamacare, over-taxation, over-regulation, and we know what the result was. that set off this counterreaction called the Tea Party. And what we’re seeing now six years later is an election that’s not only about ideology. It is a rejection of hyper-liberalism, but there’s now an overlay of sheer incompetence.

In the second year of this administration, 2010, all of this stuff was aspirational. It was in the future. well, now we’ve seen six years of Obamaism and actually the problem is not just the ideas and the ambitions, it’s the fact they are just incompetent. Remember in 1988, Michael Dukakis said ‘this election isn’t about ideology, this is about competence. That’s because if you’re a liberal, you don’t want it about ideology. You won’t even use the word.

Now we’ve seen six years of governance. And now we’ve seen this string of incompetence. Everything from Obamacare to the VA scandal to the secret Service/keystone cops routine where they leave the front door to the White House open. and now it’s kind of crystallize crystallized in Ebola with the overpromising, the running around, the contradictions and now we get the appointment of the ebola czar. Has anybody seen the guy? I’ve been saying he’s now in self-quarantine. Everything that they have had.

So I mean it’s not just that they are the party in government, they are the party of government. it’s not just their values are wrong, their ambitions for government are wrong. They can’t run the dxxn thing! And that’s why there’s this huge resentment against the Democratic Party and that’s why they’ve got to start calling people names."

    Holy cow, Batman!

Kraut's answer sounds like what a lot of liberals on this board and forum resort to, all too often.

This means he is right on, as I have always believed that the liberals on this board love to turn any argument they can't win into racism, homophoia, warmongering, gun loving NRA issues, or anti-women and pro-life! Charles hit this one out of the park!

I consider myself far right conservative. But I wish there could be some form of "cease fire" between liberals and conservatives. Too many it seems have chosen a side and tow the line without further thought. The other side is wrong, no matter what.

I truly believe that if all candidates on both sides had the people they SERVE in mind, we'd all agree on more things. We might have different ideas of how to go about solving problems, but we'd all agree more on what the problems are.

Of course, if everyone could just use their own logic, then everyone would see things as I see them! (For clarification, for those without humor, that last line was a joke.)

The problem has always been that elections morph from the issues to hate talk, race baiting, and now the war on women!. Enough is enough!

The sad thing, a ton of people will vote not on who can and will do the best job but rather on these stupid claims of race, gender equality and fear induced hate of the other political leanings! :tear::tear::tear:

The Founding Fathers Tried to Warn Us About the Threat From a Two-Party System

Polls show that a majority of Americans say that both the Republicans and Democrats are doing such a poor job representing the people that a new, third party is needed.

I’ve repeatedly warned that there is a scripted, psuedo-war between Dems and Repubs, liberals and conservatives which is in reality a false divide-and-conquer dog-and-pony show created by the powers that be to keep the American people divided and distracted. See this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this.

In fact, the Founding Fathers warned us about the threat from a two party system.

    John Adams said:

"There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution."
