Can we combine all of these into one thread because this is getting to be ridiculous?

But..but...but..there's no coverage of Gruber! No one is talking about it and you wouldn't even know about it unless you stumbled across some obscure reference to it somewhere!

Rev started like three different threads in a row this morning to discuss one topic. It was nuts.

It's still a FREE world. And freedom of speech is one reason I was a Viet Nam vet. If Rev starts 50 or 100 threads on Gruber, that is his right.

I also served my country so folks like you three above could put Rev on ignore, or choose to not read his threads, or threads that you can clearly see are not going to be something that interests you?

I can read. And that means I can choose to not read certain threads. TRY IT, YOU MAY HAVE LESS STRESS, AND CERTAINLY YOU WILL SAFE CYBER SPACE FROM SENSELESS, PERSONAL GRIPES.

    Two things you can do.

    1. Complain to a moderator if you feel like you must.

    2. Don't participate in the thread.

Purposely trying to disrupt the conversation in a thread simply because you don't like the subject should not be an option.

    touchy, aren't you.

But you're wrong. The subject suits me fine or I wouldn't be here.

And I'm not disrupting. I'm right on topic.

So we get these newbies show up here and they decide that how people who have been here for years posts does not suit them and they feel the need to try to change how and why things get posted. People put to much stock into what gets posted on forums. Seriously in the end our posts on this board means little to nothing. What in the world is wrong with people.

A while ago you agreed with me that one of the topic's was getting hard to follow because there were so many different threads on the same topic. Why have you changed your opinion on this? Is it really that unreasonable to have one thread where everybody can follow the conversation in one place in chronological order as opposed to trying to remember what discussion is taking place in what thread. It seems like instead of contributing to a thread everyone feels that their opinion is so important that they need to start their own discussion. It's crazy.

He changed his opinion because his posting has nothing to do with sharing the information. He's angry about the man in the White House. And anything remotely associated with him makes him angrier.

When you're ruled by your anger, you kinda can't control what you do because the anger is in control. Thus the crazy behavior. Seems to be a trend with some folks on here where it gets to the point where it starts to look like they are going a little coo coo.

What is also "crazy behavior" (and I should know because I have been guilty of it before) is following people everywhere they go on a message board and telling them how wrong they are to post their opinions and how obsessed they are.

Once when I realized that I had become obsessed with a poster who was obsessively posting the same thing over and over and I could not stop myself from interjecting in every.single.thread.he.posted. just to tell him how "wrong" he was ...

...I realized I was the one with the problem. Now, I might lurk in his threads with mild interest, but taking the time post to him no longer appeals to me. He is who he is and I am who I am.

Rev is merely speaking out for a LOT of angry people.

Why isn't he allowed to post whatever he wants to without the criticism from those who hold different political persuasions than he?

    Sure - he IS angry.

    I am livid.

So are you - about our lividity. (Is that word?)

Take some advice from me. You aren't going to change the Reverend. And we aren't going to change you. It is what it is.

I - no matter how many times nor how logically I opposed this other particular poster - was never going to change him. So - I let it go. And he really isn't a blip on my radar screen anymore. There's obsession .... and then there is obsession.

It seems that we have plenty of people on both sides of the coin, right and left, conservative and liberal, who show those obsessive tendencies. Both you and I and many others here have shown some angry tendencies and harped on pet subject matter over the years.

Rev is no different in that light.

If it gives you heartburn to read his posts, then avoid them.

The new training manual must be teaching yall how to make underhanded jabs while trying to seem like you're taking the high road.

Confusion must abound as I'm not trying to change Rev. I merely asked why we couldn't combine all of the threads about the SAME THING into one thread because it really starts to look a bit unhinged.

Zaac's got people who have Gruber on the brain, on his brain. Or Mitch must be his idol.

    Just using his standards.

What is so amazing to me, is that adults (supposedly) don't have the common sense to see that each person can decide to follow --- or not --- any given topic or poster. Nobody is - at least to me - holding a gun to your head to force you to read anybody's posts or follow any particular topic. Sheesh guys, if you don't like a post/poster, DON'T READ IT!!! This ain't rocket science.

Perhaps your dog pooped in your favorite chair, and your taking out your frustrations on this board; if such is the case, everybody would be better off and happier if you just went outside and chopped a cord of firewood.

    IOW, GROW UP!!!!!

(You guys do know there's an "IGNORE" button don't you?? It works wonders. And I know from experience; and it sure does improve your mental attitude.)

Let the Rev Have His Say .... He is Speaking for Many of Us!

You hit this one out of the park! A walk off home run!

Two of the afore mentioned people have a habit of doing just that [following people around the bard and belittling or judging them]. I think the mods need to take control over this bad habit of theirs and shut them down like PTLGISMYS.....These two, and several others are extremely negative about the people on this board, and they think they can drive them off the board by railroading threads, provoking them to anger, and causing them to be frustrated!

It has become old and stale, but I guess they are here to stay, which is why they go on IGNORE from time to time, giving me time to calm down and see a thread for what it is, and not for what they try to make it into!

BTW - as for Gruber and Obama and Obamacare, I am every bit as livid as you.

My anger, disgust, and frustration have nothing to do with the political affiliation of the man or his skin color .... but rather, with everything he is doing (or not doing) and how he goes about doing it! It concerns me greatly that he has two years remaining in office to do more damage to America and its Constitution. The country will need strong leadership in 2016, and I don't care if it's a Democrat or Republican, so long as they see they errors of this man's ways and start to clean up the political vandalism he left all over the country and in the White House.

The truth is, I consider "his pen" and his use of Executive Orders"

 Abhorrent. Some lack self-control and have now taken to trying to make others responsible for their behavior. Doesn't sound much like a "conservative".

More pure foolishness. CONGRESS passed the bill. It had nothing to do with the stupidity of the American people.

So if yall want to be frustrated with someone, be frustrated with Congress.
