When will he finally come clean? It's getting worse for him every day as the evidence mounts up. Why does he think he can hide from the facts forever? As Numbers 32:23 says :"Be sure your sins will find you out." That applies to all of us, but it is directly apropos for the Cos at this time.

I have respected the man for a long time. My last reference to him on the BB was months ago --and it was positive. But this can't go on much longer. He has to realize it. His reputation is shot. But he could gather a little dignity by admitting the obvious. Is he afraid of legal ramifications?

As he is nearing his 80th year, he still has some learning to do. Perhaps he could claim that since his son's tragic death he has remained faithful to his wife. That doesn't mitigate much, but ...

Yeah, I feel that he is going to at least have to address it sooner or later.

And if he's innocent? I'd like to believe he's innocent until proven guilty, and not by some female lynch mob coming out of the shadows years later.

I agree it does not look good for him. But with any accusations - I want to know ALL the facts.

Take a look at this link

One poster wanted to know what else is needed since it is obvious.

Well, I will tell you why I want the full story.
Many years ago (true story) I was accused of stealing $300 from the C-Store I worked at. The evidence proved I took the money, therefore my mananger immediately suspended me.. (This was on Sat Am). Well, come Monday afternoon the boss called me and informed me that when ALL the facts came in - another employee was arrested for stealing the money.
She then apologized for suspending me. I told here she had nothing to apologize for as she made the right decision based on the current facts.
My problem was with the employee who tried to frame me.

Innocent?! Come on. Did you just fall off the turnip truck? If half the women by this date are lying --what about the others? Do you notice his pattern? What about the 90 year old man who signed his name on checks to cover for him? How much proof do you need?
The way you have characterized them is disgraceful. Back in 2005 --(that's almost ten years ago for the mathematically challenged), in Andrea Constand's case, 13 other women testified with similar stories.

I am going to apply the same grace to Cosby as I did the Ferguson officer. Innocent until proven guilty. No judgment before the facts are found.

I'd give you points for your passionate rant, but what you present is still your suspicions, and even though we all know how highly you think of yourself, that just counts in the court of public opinion; and the courts require a lot more.

Look I tend to think there is merit to the accusations that have surfaced, but the courts, and I took many sexual molestation's to the local DA's, and I had more evidence than what we are reading in the paper, and was told to go dig deeper if the case was going to fly. So, what I said earlier is based on law, not my heart, which you seem to expose in your passionate rant.

If he's guilty, I'll bet you dollars to donuts he takes it to the grave.

And I pray that officer is innocent, even though any chance at a normal life is all but impossible, regardless. And that is sad.

Yeah, you have always been real big on getting all the facts before you pass judgment.

It's all so sad and terrible. He's always been one of my favorites - for many reasons.

I don't know what it all true and what is not, but it just doesn't look good to me and when the early allegations came out years ago - I can remember casting them aside and thinking "Bill Cosby? No way!!".

When he got the TV role in "I Spy" in the late 1960's, he was already a popular comedian. Now he, along with Robert Culp, were hip, sexy, cool, and wildly popular. He was great friends and still is with Hugh Hefner and frequented the parties that Hefner gave in those days.

[IMG]He was TV gold and as a comedian that only others could long to be and as Dr. Huxtable he was and is a very powerful mogul.

That's all he's known. That's all we've known of him.

When I read these women's accounts (and I've read them all several times), I see the same thing. Joan Tarshish, who claims that he brought her a beer and told her to mix it with her bloody mary calling it he told her a "red eye", says that after she was drugged and forced into sexual acts - that she could only think, "Who can I tell. Who would believe me? If he was just a regular joe, maybe someone would believe me."

I have to interject that it's very hard for women who have been tricked and forced into sex by powerful men with drugs to tell someone and they are shamed into silence many times.

Just multiply that shame ten-fold for the 1960's and 1970's.

Women who accuse popular men many times are labeled as the "bad girl" for getting herself into a situation like that. It still happens today.

A couple of these women DID go to the police and charges were never filed against him.

I don't know the whole and real truth.

    I am just very sad.

    You were present, eh?

Without proof or his admission, it is all hearsay.

What type of proof is anyone expecting? These ladies weren't saving blue dresses.

A man just came out saying he used to stand guard and get women for Cosby.

As I mentioned in another thread, I was listening to sat radio. Just got it turned on since they were offering a special. I'm pretty sure that the audience was probably mostly Black and I wanted to hear what they were saying.

Imagine my shock when this lady called in. She said that she and her husband had been real close with Bill and Camille. He was always around their family and they were around his. They had season tickets to the Sixers and had seats on the floor. She had her grandson with her at a game and her husband was out of town. She was on the floor and Bill jumped up and ran over to her. Asked her how her husband and family was. Cosby leaned in and hugged her and whispered in her ear "how come I haven't ever F***** you"?

    This was 3 years ago.

The call was totally unsolicited. She said that she told all her co-workers and clients about this. And they have been coming up to her telling her that she called this 3 years ago.

That I know of, nobody is pressing charges so whether or not it is hearsay is irrelevant.

Nothing more will happen because a lot of Hollywood money is involved. Any additional damage involves royalties for many, many people.

Exactly. Not charged, not convicted. Presumed innocent.

Guilty or innocent, I don't know. I would suspect that he may be guilty of fornication/adultery, but again, don't know.
One thing I do know, is that if this were JJ or Sharpton (or any liberal black) it would have taken FOX NEWS at least a month of reporting before any of the MSM would have touched it.
Since BC is a black that is also a conservative, he must be silenced - at all costs.
A white conservative they can fight, but a black conservative is the death knell of the Ds if unchecked.
This will never die until the libs get their pound of flesh; or it proves to be a scam, which is not impossible.
Just keep in mind folks, the question is not did BC engage in illicit sex, BUT did he RAPE these women? ;)
I dare say that most, if not all, were "raped(??)" long after the fact!

Not by most of the folks hearing all the accusations. Not by the women making the accusations.

As there is a statute of limitations, there probably won't be any charges or convictions.

I don't think the motivation of these women finally speaking up is to get a conviction.

Bill Cosby is not a conservative. That man is about as liberal as they come.
