If you let these young radicals and far left liberals have their day in the sun, snow and rain .... they will see that their cause is fading. I know that in some places, the crowds have remained steady or increased marginally, but in a lot of areas here in California, the groups are shrinking.

After all, these folks still have to get their Christmas shopping done, and get ready for New Year's Eve.

So I predict as the calendar creeps closer to the holidays of December and January, these groups shouting the words of their fairy tale "Hand up, don't shoot" will slowly fade away, just like Rodney King, of George Zimmerman, or the rallies to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. No one in this nation has the fortitude to stick with anything for a long term fight, and this predictable end is right around the next (street) corner.

I mean, even the Occupy Movement had it's day and went away!

So, I believe that before the year ends, we can count on Michael Brown, and Eric Garner's name and cause to be nearly nonexistent!

The majority was thinking like that in the 60s too.

Sad, but true, and they will continue to think like this in 2021, and 2054. These racial protests are nothing more than race card reruns. Perpetually playing the race card will only end when Jesus returns for the church!

That's the same time when those who practice racial prejudice will have their unrepentant sin exposed by the Love of Jesus Christ.

I guess those with a judgmental spirit, and all that hostial rancor towards their brothers on this board will leave them more surprised than they ever realized!

The correct spelling is hostile, not hostial.

It's hard to believe that you are a published author.

I've said the same thing and have since just left it alone. I'd expect a published author to be a little bit more polished when it comes to using words and spelling and grammar. And stuff like referring to black people as Afro-Americans instead of African Americans.

But alas, there are some "other" things at work here. So just keep that at the back of your mind.

First, it was a minority, not a majority. Do a little research on us privileged honkies during the civil rights movement. Unless of course you are referring to the early years... which were actually in the 50's.

Second, the difference is, in the 60's, when the white man realized they were wrong, and extended their hand to their darker brothers to help them up, they didn't get knifed and mugged and their business burned down...

I was referencing majority as white people. I was not referring to a majority or a minority AMOUNT.

The ones extending their hands to help today aren't getting knifed and mugged. And for the most part, just like back then, nobody is taking role as to whose business is getting burned down. If it's in the neighborhood, nobody is knocking to see who the owners are.
