.... lead to war? What the sanctions against Russia reminds me of is the same scenario that led Japan to attack Pearl Harbor.

Do you think history could repeat itself in a world war with Russia attacking the EU or NATO allies? After all, Russia has been building up its naval forces in the Baltic Sea as of late, an EU/NATO allies are growing more and more concerned.

History is not repeating itself, it is the end times developing. Rosh will attack Israel. In a sense I see it is, that Russia will be forced to strike while she still can. Russia want the empire back.

In what alternate universe's history did Russia attack other nations sparking a world war?

When did the Russian economy collapse?

The answer to your question is: No. If the Russian economy collapses it will not lead to a world war.

I have to agree that the Russian economy will not collapse because the KGB Lt. Col. has stolen enough money to keep things going himself. It is rumored that the KGB Lt. Col. is the richest man in the world.

Besides, the issue is not the USSR (you don't know how lucky you are) but the attack on the USA by the Wahhabis who are intent upon collapsing the American oil industry in order to make us dependent upon them once again. We are in an economic war with Saudi Arabia and Russia may be in better shape than we are.

I don't want to see the Russian people suffer, they are good people (relatively speaking).

The Kremlin is evil but they at least have the sense to refrain from trying anything right now.

HOWEVER, they are playing footsie with China which is more dangerous for Russia than China.

I believe we will soon see some kind confederation between Russia and China with a common symbol, shared funding, maybe very similar uniforms, etc, etc...

    Heil Putin Komrades?

Chinese money, Russian brains, how can they loose?

There is still anger in your response. I sense it in the tone. While I appreciate your response, your tone still needs to be toned down!

There is still ambiguousness in your writing. Your clarity needs to be turned up.

The Saudi generosity will not last long for one reason or another. They have declared an economic war on the USA. Collateral damage includes not only Russia but also Iran and Venezuela.

The dropping of the price of oil by about half means that some of the wells here in the USA will no longer be economical--which is the Saudi intent. In other words, we are going to join Russia, Iran and Venezuela with economic damage from this trade war when the Saudis double their current prices again.
