Hacked? Or a very clever, cost effective ad campaign?

Now that Sony Pictures has reversed its decision, AGAIN, on the movie "The Interview" does anyone else smell something fishy? If it is not a clever way to cheaply advertise this low budget, "B" movie (at the most) with minimal capital?

We may never know, but, it is awfully strange. What say you? :type:

I didn't say you don't have the right to state what you think. Why are you so instantly defensive whenever anyone says something contrary to your position? I gave evidence I believe is credible - you are free to reject it. Do you have any evidence to support your theory?

I'm sure the movie will be awful. Maybe they are using it to drum up business, but that doesn't mean that it isn't a real hack and isn't costing them.

I was merely refuting your opinion. This is a debate board. Maybe you are taking it personal. I merely stated the early reviews did not look favorably on the film. I don't disagree. This cost Sony millions, but they won't be the first to take a bath.

However. I have to wonder if this was part of a clever way to garner free advertising. You have to admit, they have sold a ton of tickets out of patriotic support, and blind curiosity. A friend told me he wouldn't have even thought about seeing the film, but now wants to see what caused all the uproar. That got me thinking this may have been a n inexpensive for to advertise the movie.
