There are some children and adults who cannot get vaccinated and/or are in an immunocompromised state. It is obvious what happens when too many people choose not to be vaccinated - we end up with a disease that was almost eradicated coming back and infecting many. Measles is one of the most contagious diseases we have today and it's no surprise that it's back.
Yeah it's so bad that even those who are fully vaccinated are getting it.

A look a the graphs shows alot of the diseases that $cience has taken credit for eradicatiing were on the decline long before vaccine$ were invented. Improved sanitation, diet, and better ways of handling food were responsible for the drop in mortality rates.

By contrast look at today's junk food diet. The average American's diet today especially children consists of junk food and pre packaged chemicals called preservatives, artificial flavors and dyes and yes GMOs.
I'm no doctor or expert but it makes sense to me that a healthy immune system is key to good health. How do you maintain a healthy immune system? Eating right, drinking clean chemical free water, getting the proper vitamins, regular exercise and rest.
Popping a pill or getting a jab in the arm is not going to make up for a crappy diet or lifestyle.
And like the Rev says, letting diseased people in the country isn't going to benefit us either. Unless you are a giant pharma company that benefit$ from the increase in illness and the media hype that follows.
The corporate media is targeting Republicans who argue that the decision to inject children with demonstrably dangerous vaccines should be left to parents.
MSNBC and the Democrats have turned vaccination into a political weapon by declaring it is “the new political wedge issue.”
MSNBC claims Republicans “must balance the inarguable evidence showing the benefits of vaccination with lingering suspicion from many conservatives, who often regard entrenched institutions – from big government to the health care industry to scientists at elite universities – with skepticism.”
This “inarguable evidence” ignores numerous cases where vaccinations have proved not only injurious, but fatal.
