They always say, when "pigs fly" we need to take notice. Well, pigs are not flying, but if Maher is turning on Obama, Mr. Obama had better take notice.

He said it's pretty bad when you have prostate cancer done by Comcst "he was joking yet not". He said some people are just not going to the doctor now because of the confusion.

I feel like I am putting on my "poncho" here, but my opinion is Obamacare is doing exactly what it was designed to do. Their end game is nationalized health care and the taxes to pay for it. They have broken an already dysfunctional system in the hopes of bringing it to it's knees so they can excitedly jump up and shout... "SEE! We need nationalized health care. We tried but nobody wanted to make it work!"

The blind sheep on the other side of the aisle are opening their eyes to the nightmare that this really is and it's to late!

I loved your "poncho" pun...that was a classic funny! As for being too late! It will only be too late when Jesus has returned and taken us home. Until then, we have the right ands responsibility to make this fragile freedom and democracy work for the best of the majority, even if that majority is only 50.1% of the population! :type:

Well you know, they had to pass the bill in order to find out what was in it. So now we know.Funny thing is everything the GOP said about it is coming true.

So you are saying it was not a vast right wing conspiracy.

No, it is an uncovering of a vast left wing (redistribution of wealth) conspiracy.

Ezekiel Emanuel (unofficial Obama-care Czar) designed the structure of Obamacare and created the mantra "some hard decisions will have to be made" referring to the decision based upon economic future probabilities.

e.g. A 40 year old man is in his financial prime, lets say he makes 100,000/year and has renal failure versus an 80 year old great grandfather who is on Social Security who also needs dialysis.

Guess who gets the dialysis machine?

And many many more inequities each of which according to raw cold logic is the correct decision but wouldn't go over too well with the general public.

Another e.g. - infants up to 5 or 6 years old are considered as bad (or worse) a liability as the 80 year old great grandfather because they have a 12 year tax paid education ahead of them. It makes more sense to help the 40 year old guy who is a tax payer rather than a "worthless eater - Hitler's term" and get him back to contributing rather than unrequited consuming at the government's expense.

The problem is, and we have seen it with Obama's "immigration reform," is that the Republicans aren't going to do anything about it. It took states suing and a judge to stop it because as soon as they took over the House and Senate they backtracked on everything that got them elected.

The insurance companies found out how much they stood to make off Obamacare and now they are all for it. They are paying off both sides of the aisle. The Republicans can pass whatever they want to look good because Obama is going to veto it. I will eat a piece of liver for dinner if the Republicans manage to take the WH, and keep the House and Senate, and repeal it.
