I'll tell you what I think of Ms. Henson. She has "Class!" And if all the other high profile folks that have wrongfully blamed the police for committing an action against them or friends or family, would follow in her steps, we'd be on our way to fixing all this new-found racially charged tension.

And the apologies need to begin from the man in the WH, his AG, and Al Sharpton!

    In my eyes,
this actress is one class act! What say you about her gutsy apology to the cops who stopped her son???

(slightly edited to conform to L.E.F.T.)

The question is WHY did Miss Henson apologize? Was it because such a big deal was made out of it?

There you go just being silly again. Apologize for what? Did he accuse Officer Wilson of doing something? I'll wait and see if you can show me where the President of the United States accused Officer Wilson.

Let's see if you're man enough to offer up an apology to the President in the same manner that you just bore false witness against him.

Pure foolishness. Again, racially old prejudiced white men have done more for maintaining heightened racial tensions than Barack Obama could ever do.

    No. But you apparently do.

    Theor ACTIONS were their words!

Words by Obama - NONE! You are being SILLY this time. He didn't have to speak a word; it was his actions that spoke as loud as words, but I'm sure you will disagree.

So let's look at his actions! Sending three WH Aides to the funeral suggests the kid was some kind of hero, and gunned down. Even so, you will say no words were spoken!

Sending his AG, and not someone from the AG's office spoke loudly! Nevertheless, you will say that no words were spoken.

PREMATURELY issuing condolences to the family of a proven thug, who did try to get the cop's gun after strong-armed robbery is speaking words with actions!

And because you and Wade are suggesting the use of semantics here goes a long way to prove you are not being honest. Link to definition of Idiom - Actions speak louder than words! http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/actions+speak+louder+than+words.html

You and Wade both know that the actions on behalf of Obama, and the AG led to the heated riots and ongoing tension. It even fueled the wrongful declaration, "Hands up, don't shoot!" Even so, again, neither of you will be honest enough to admit this.

So go on one of your now-infamous rants, and Wade can do his dumb down question routine, It won't change the fact that history will prove Obama, Holder and Al had more to do with splitting the country than Wilson did by shooting Brown!

Because you're speaking the same old rhetoric of privilege and you think it means a hill of beans. The President of the United States should apologize to Officer Wilson at the same time white people apologize for slavery. Now let's see how many catch the irony of that.

Naah. That's just what you assume it is because you dislike the President and anything he does has to be tied to motives you can use to malign him.

His AG is the head of the Justice Department. He can go wherever he wants.

Beyond just STUPID on your part. As for much as I think the man may be a Muslim, he still manages to show more compassion than you who say you're a Christian. A mother and father lost their child at the hands of a police officer's gun. His dead body lay in the streets for hours What's premature about offering condolences about someone who is dead?

You want an apology for the man who is still alive but are upset that the President offered condolences for the one who had died?

Man you can go kick rocks.

Again, your stupidity knows no bounds. Didn't anybody start rioting because of the President or the AG, and those lily white blinders continue to prevent you from seeing that.

What history will prove is that the same type old racially prejudiced white men who fueled the riots of the 50s and 60s, who fueled a nation's Civil War, who fueled Selma, who fueled World War II, who fueled Apartheid in South Africa, who fueled Jim Crow, and who fueled Ferguson, are the same types who have fueled more racial division and continue to fuel it more than any President could dare ever hope to fuel.

SO history has testified and continues to testify that it's the little old racially prejudiced white men who historically keep manufacturing racial division.

Nope. Darren Wilson didn't apologize to the parents of Michael Brown for killing their child. And even went so far as to say if he had it to do over, he wouldn't do anything differently.

But yall foolishly think the President, who didn't kill anybody, should issue an apology?

    Right.

This is why folks are marching and saying Black lives matter because as is evidenced by two in this thread alone, old white people see value in the life of white people but not the "black thugs" they summarily dismiss as having got what they deserved.

If he ever fixed his mouth to apologize to Darren Wilson when Wilson hasn't apologized to that boy's parents...

And from comes the same old, tired rhetoric. The exact same thing you've been spewing since you came on board. Get a new line of turgidity son, and we may be able to carry on a conversation that doesn't continue to demonstrate your built up propensity for reverse racism. :type:

Everything eles you say is nothing more than the same old blah, blah, blah!

    Let me count the ways:

    1) Wilson's apology would fall on deaf ears. They want him dead, not remorseful for what? Doing his job?

    2) Obama is the president of this United States. He's the leader of the free world (well, that is questionable as he is losing credibility each day), so let him set the tone and lead the way. After all, it was his actions that set this fire ablaze.

    3) Like I've said before ... none of us alive today had anything to do with the racism two hundred years ago.

    4) And as for that "black life's count" that is so racist. ALL lives count. Red, black, yellow, white, fat, skinny, religious, non religious, gay, straight, smart, or not so smart. All lives must count, not just the lives of one race or culture or society or ethnicity. ALL LIVES! To focus in on, or zero in on one ethnicity over another or others is pure racism at its best.

    5) Eric Holder and his own people have proven that "Hands up, don't shoot" was a myth. And that friend of the victim, should be brought up on charges for his blatant attempt to lie under oath. And the step father of the victim should be brought up on charges for starting a detestable riot that caused innocent people of all colors to lose their lively hood.

Couldn't refute it, could ya? Yep, old racially prejudiced white men have caused more racism and racial tension and division and wars than anybody else in the history of this country.

You mean like you and many others have shown that you don't care what the President does or says, you're gonna find fault in it because you don't like him and you want him to fail at everything he does?

He did set the tone and led the way. He expressed a compassion rarely seen in racially prejudiced old white men.

He sat politics aside and offered his condolences to someone who had lost their child. BRAVO to him for sympathizing with a parent's pain no matter what their child may have done.

And like I said, you didn't have to have anything to do with it 200 years ago. You're holding the reigns of prejudice and racism just fine in the here in now so who cares about the past?

Empty platitudes. Speaking out one side of your mouth while the other side is speaking how you truly feel. So save the ALL LIVES MATTER crapola. If all lives mattered to you, you'd speak and treat other people as though all lives matter. And an ever increasing number of people on the right do no such thing.

Pure bovine skeptology. See previous reply.

Old racially prejudiced white men have a history of dancing around their faults in order to make others look responsible for what they are pushing. They are cowards and explains why so many historically ran around hiding their faces underneath white sheets.

And that's as far as I need to get in reading anything with which you reply. Like the majority of old, white racially prejudiced men in the history of this nation, you like to talk, but you never listen.

Now that is a racist statement. Full stop. Riots? Really? There was more damage in Vancouver and San Francisco over hockey and baseball then there ever was in Ferguson.

When you assign a generalization of negative behavior to a certain race based off of their skin color it is racism. You need to watch yourself.

You know it's not as though everyone didn't already know how you felt by the foolish things you continue to post and intimate. And it's so sad that you don't get why decent white and black Christians and Christians of all skin colors can objectively look at history and see that it was men just like you, from before the time of Christ, who have always been the ones pushing racial division.

And thinking your words are too eloquent for anyone to realize the venom and hostility with which they are always laced for anyone non-white.

    A truly sad display.

Every once in a while he gets so wound up he slips up and posts what we all suspected about him. I've had it and I can't believe the mods allow this garbage to fly unchallenged. Heaven forbid we have a serious discussion about homosexuality but racist nonsense like this is no problem apparently.
