And Obama stupidly thinks he can negotiate in good faith with these fanatics.

How stupid can he really get?

He lies to everyone. He's not picky.

But he's desperate for a deal. He'll make any concession to get one. Including selling out this country and the rest of the civilized world.

The iranians are using that knowledge against him. He is out of his league with the master manipulators in Tehran.

Throughout the entire negotiation process, the GOP and a lot of folks on this board have been parroting that we can't trust Iran and its leaders.

So I guess that's morphed into we can't trust the Iranians except when they say something that fits a party narrative about the President?

This is probably one of the reasons the man keeps doing what he does because stuff like this makes it obvious to the rest of the non-GOP world that the GOP isn't doing anything but playing politics and trying to be an stumbling block in everything this President attempts to accomplish.

Kind of makes you wonder just whose side they are on since they buy into the propaganda machine with such ease.

It really does. It tells me a whole lot about why some would rather see us go to war than negotiate a deal.

They certainly don't seem very concerned about the country. It's a "WE MUST STOP OBAMA AT ANY COST" Borg like mentality.

All the while they are looking like schizophrenic, hypocritical loons.

Let's hope that his European negotiating partners are keeping a sharp eye on the proceedings. I can believe that Obama would broker a lousy deal; I find it hard to believe that Germany would go along with it.

Carpro don't you see the humor in this. We have the most deceptive president in the history of the nation, and the Iranians know this! Then we have the Iranians with a well known propensity for dishonesty. And the two are strange bedfellows trying to arrive at a mutual agreement best for each country.

It's like two thieves planning to rob Fort Knox, but neither trusting the other enough to have each others back if caught. This has the makings for a great Hollywood flick in ten years.

And then on the other side, you've got the dynamic of folks in the GOP seemingly trying to orchestrate a war.

It might just be a blockbuster.

Yep. I laughed when I saw it. The irony is delicious.

Two liars trying to outdo each other.

Does anyone with a brain really think a reasonable deal will come out of their "negotiations" ? Obama will give up the farm for an agreement and Iran won't honor it, no matter what it is.

I certainly hope so, but really have little faith in anything our liar-in-chief negotiates with muslim fanatics. Let's face it. He doesn't have the best interests of the nation in mind. "Captain Oblivious" would be more apt.

It's actually been France that has been the most critical of this deal, even though I don't even know if there is such a thing. Last week, it was an agreement to a "framework", the details unknown. The Iranians want the sanctions to be lifted today and make demand after demand. They are stalling for time.

Playing Obama like a string fiddle. He's way out of his depth.
