Michelle Bachmann: Obama's poor relationship with Israel will bring the return of Jesus

[Disclaimer: I reproduce the headline from the Jerusalem Post, although reading the article I don't see where she says anything like it.]

Former Republican congresswoman Michele Bachmann stated that President Barack Obama’s handling of the Iranian nuclear deal is a symbol of the coming of the end of times and the “imminent” return of Jesus Christ, during a recent radio interview.

Bachmann explained that if Obama and the United States turn their back on Israel, this would bring severe “curses” upon the United States, similar to those seen in the end of days.

Good question. At what again?

Saying dumb stuff. As if God is going to punish the USA with natural disasters if we don't back the secular government of Israel in everything they do. As if Obama's foreign policy is going to get God to change his time table for Jesus to return.

You don't believe Christ is coming again? Not a fair question. I know you do.

I don't agree with everything she says , but there is a central truth in there we simply can't ignore.

Most people that sound alarms about the end times are considered nuts. She's no worse than most of of them.

Yes, I do. And please come back today, Jesus!

Most of what she said in the article about the end times and the imminent return of Christ I agree with.....but....when she links the timing of His return to actions the Obama administration takes with Israel, it negates everything she's said.

Most people that sound alarms about the end times are considered nuts. She's no worse than most of of them.

The radio show Bachmann was on where she said this is based in Minneapolis. The ONLY reason this made the news is because of her comments about Obama's foreign policy as it relates to Israel. If that part was absent, Bachmann would sound like any other pre-tribber, not a big deal. But to link it to Obama it's just another political dig that taints the message of Christ's return.

What exactly is it you consider as "a central truth"? That if the U.S doesn't unconditionally support Israel [read put Israel first] God will curse us because of it?

Frankly, from all the decades that we HAVE unconditionally supported Israel I'm still waiting for some blessings to transpire. What's up with that?

The neocons are going to have as many candidates as possible in the lineup, and evangelicals/'Christians' fill the bill nicely. I'm sure the Jerusalem Post is going on the assumption she's just as much a warmonger for Christ now as she ever was:

To you , everything is about Jews. No surprise there.

Until you rid yourself of that hatred, any reasonable conversation with you about the second coming is a waste of time.

Well, the OP article is from The Jerusalem Post, you know.

Until you rid yourself of that hatred, any reasonable conversation with you about the second coming is a waste of time.

Is that all you got? How about answering the question posed to you?:

What exactly is this "central truth" that you're referring to?

Enlighten us to some truth for once instead of spewing your usual obnoxious tripe.

Pinpoint this truth that we simply must not ignore.

So? Doesn't matter to me at all. All I care about is if it's accurate.

Did they report what she said accurately?

I doubt anyone knows what you're talking about. Are you on pain killers? Drugs? Alcohol?

So what's the deal? Is it a secret? Do you not want to admit what you consider to be this great grand central truth that we must not ignore?

“We need to be so on fire right now about the things of Christ and the things of God, that needs to occupy our time and our thoughts virtually from morning to night because we have very little time — in my opinion — left before the second return of Christ. That’s good news!” the former congresswoman said.
