...George Soros, the billionaire philanthropist prominently involved in politics for the past decade, is funding Democratic lawsuits against voting laws in several states.

Soros is prepared to spend at least $5 million on efforts to challenge voting rules that have been enacted in recent years, his political adviser told The New York Times.
The adviser, Michael Vachon, said Soros is supporting lawsuits filed in Ohio and Wisconsin last month, and another in North Carolina. Lawsuits could also be filed in Georgia, Nevada and Virginia, among other states.

Among the states publicly identified, Ohio, Wisconsin and Virginia are key swing states. Proponents of the recently enacted laws say they are intended to prevent voter fraud.

Clients for the Democratic lawyer leading the effort, Marc Elias, include four big Democratic Party committees and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to the Times.

"...Democratic frontrunner for President, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, got the informal and unaffiliated backing of the leftist Jewish billionaire, George Soros, NYT’s Maggie Haberman reported.

Soros is reportedly funding a Democratic legal fight against restrictive voting laws in states where Republican governors and Republican-led legislatures. Marc Elias, one of the top Democratic lawyers specializing in voter protection issues, and an attorney representing Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign, began exploring a series of federal suits in advance of the 2016 election, Soros’s political adviser Michael Vachon told the Times...."

Seems the GOP is afraid of true democracy but desire a restrictive democracy ... restricted to Republicans only voting.

So "true democracy" according to you means allowing voter fraud to cancel the democratic will of legitimate voters?

Also, I assume you profess to be a Christian? If so... then why lie? Where has anyone EVER proposed that only Republicans be allowed to vote? Where has any Republican ever said they were afraid of having ALL legitimate votes counted?

Fact is voter fraud is a problem. It is most problematic in some districts which run over 90% Democrat that lack any indigenous checks against fraud.

It is FAR closer to the truth that Dems don't want to give up this "advantage" and have fair elections across the board.
