    http://nypost.com/2015/07/02/jobs-report-shows-more-people-giving-up-the-search/

Per the report, the government doesn't count those who give up and remain unemployed due to their loss of hope: "The rate fell mostly because many people out of work gave up on their job searches and were no longer counted as unemployed."

Then there is this GLOOMY report from http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/07/02/us-unemployment-falls-to-7-year-low-but-wages-are-flat/

"U.S. unemployment fell to a seven-year low of 5.3 percent and employers hired at a solid pace in June, but other gauges of the job market drew a bleaker picture: A wave of people stopped looking for work, and paychecks failed to budge.

The figures released Thursday capture the persistently uneven nature of the recovery from the Great Recession.

The job market "remains consistent with a two-steps-forward, one-step-back expansion the U.S. economy finds itself in," said Scott Andersen, chief economist at Bank of the West."

Now we have heard the rest of the story. The truth, no spin no rosy pictures. Maybe Bush started this, but Obama has certainly failed to END it!

It's a great deal worse than all of that. According to David Stockman, the real unemployment rate is almost 42%.

Thanks for that stat. There are those on this board that drink Obama flavored kool aid, and don't believe this. But we all know people who have given up, and now live off the tax dollars in one way or another. :tear:

Then David Stockman must belong to the "elves come out at night and do most of the work" school of economics. Forty-two percent indeed!

    I'm sorry. My error. It's 42.9%.

You can dish it out, but you hate it when the truth hits you square in the face. Admit it, your POTUS is poor at fixing anything but immigration for the illegal's.

Obama is not my POTUS. I have never voted for him, in fact I think he is a terrible President.

Is that your response to my skepticism that the unemployment rate is 42%? Trying to connect me with Obama? Pathetic.

It's the old "guilt by association" fallacy. The default argument of the neocons and their fearful paranoid followers.

Notice how they use this fallacy just like the "liberals" use the "racist" label.

Disagree with a neocon or their policies, ask for proof and you're cast as a friend of the "enemy", disagree with a democrat or their policies, ask for proof and you're cast as a "racist".

This is "politicking" at the second or third grade level.

BTW, RD2 is 100% wrong. This didn't start with Bush and it won't end with Obama.

It started with the Federal Reserve act in 1913 and has been facilitated by every American President and congress from then on. The only president I know of that even questioned it was assassinated in 1963.

Hate to tell you this - but Obama is your President -

We may not like what he has done, but the fact remains he is President of the entire United States.
