Return to the bad old past. If one group of native born can be denied then everyone native born can be denied.

Was I ever surprised to learn that you are a constitutional attorney, Crabtown! I never even thought that you were an expert on immigration law!

It is a never ending circle ctb, and it goes like this: Illegals come here; give birth; the child is now a citizen; when we go to deport the illegal parents, liberal like you claim the child has rights, and we need to allow the parents to remain here to keep from making the child legal orphans. Later, the kids, now citizens can claim their parents as legal guests and the parents are permitted to apply for fast track citizenship. Sounds like the illegals through liberal attorneys have found a way to spin and use the laws against us for them to break our laws. :BangHead:

I say toss them all out. End of problem. Cycle broken.

A person born within the U.S. merely because the mother crossed the border illegally for a day for the express purpose of having the baby in this country instead of where they actually live is not "native born".

It's a shame that the GOP is becoming synonymous with this type of behavior. If it does not benefit them or help them to garner votes, they have started pushing for some really nasty stuff. And have the audacity to try and justify it.

I guess the rule of law only applies when it makes some of y'all feel good. You don't have to like it but that baby meets the requirements of being naturally born.

Unlike the progressives, or liberals, or leftists, or democrats, or what ever moniker now in vogue, conservatives work TO CHANGE THE LAW, not ignore and subvert!

Right. So I guess conservatives really don't have a problem with states passing laws that allow for gay marriage. I guess those conservatives aren't ignoring and subverting the law by not issuing marriage licenses still.

The "conservatives" are just like the liberals. They ignore and subvert whatever meets their needs for political gain.
