The latest Pew Research Current Event Quiz is available, and I wanted to share it with you!

We do a lot of talking on this forum, but how much do you REALLY know about who is doing what, and where it is being done? You may be surprized at how much you do know; or maybe don't know, when it comes to what is happening all around us!

Feel free to pass this on to others.

    A NEWS IQ TEST:

This is a terrific test. And it shows results in a number of ways. It surely indicates that the majority of Americans don't know what's going on. It's astonishing that so many people got less than half right. The results say that 80% of the (voting) public doesn't have a clue, and that's pretty scary. There are no tricks here -- just a simple test to see if you are current on your information. This is quite a good quiz and the results are somewhat shocking.Test your knowledge with the challenge of 12 questions, then be ready to shudder when you see how others did:

BTW - I got eleven of the twelve correct! Maybe I watch tooooo much Fox News! :wavey: How did you do? :wavey:

    11 out of 12.

And I haven't watched tv in months.

This is a dumb test. It doesn't ask any questions about important current events.

Took test. Error message when I submitted it, but I know 12/12.

Agree with Poncho. Does not seem to be much about the news.

I got 11/12. I didn't know what country the pope was born in.

    Oh no! The shame!

The shame would be if you were Catholics and did not know...

Must be that bit he said about Christ's life being a failure distracted me from the more important stuff. I know excuses excuses.

News to me. Did Mr. Pope really say that? If so, not good.
