Yet we are bringing in several thousand Syrians among whom are in all probability those who want to murder us.

Mr . President I hope somehow this post reaches you:

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

I know this will ruffle some feathers. I don't care.

In fact I hope it does.

I have no problem helping the Syrian refugees as I have spelled out in previous posts and will even contribute to the effort.

But Mr president why do you instantly rush to the aid of a nation from whence comes ISIS soldiers, bring them here to the states with a shallow promise of vetting, house, feed and cloth them and scatter them throughout the land while my brothers languish in the streets?

Again, I want to help the refugees who do not want to take off my head. But where are your priorities Mr. President?

I won't speak to what politicians are or are not doing on this issue. It is indeed shameful. But moreso for the Body of Christ than it is for The President or any other politician. Makes me wonder again why my church will try to collect $400,000.00 to give to the Lottie Moon Fund to help spend 80,000 per year to send a missionary into the 10/40 window in which folks live off an average $2 per day, but we've got folks sleeping in the woods and under bridges throughout Georgia?

I know some of the folks have mental issues and you probably couldn't get them off the streets if you wanted to. But we definitely have the resources to do more about the things that Christ says we should be doing as opposed to 80K per year to support one missionary. Just my opinion.

Zaac How can we do that? Send one person temporarily on a mini mission with cash and/or commodities?

Yes we also support salaried missionaries.

We have a few domestic projects during the year for the underprivileged and the unborn.

Here is how we try to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, take care of the widows and orphans of which there are many in the 10/40 window:

We support Jason Nightingale of Wordsower Company (look it up if you wish) he has owns and runs orphanages all over the 10/40 window, he travels all over the US reciting whole books of the Bible from memory collecting support (yes he entertains but he does it for Christ and his orphans).
He had to expand his orphanages in Africa recently because the Ebola epidemic left many widows and orphans behind.

They not only plant churches they feed and cloth thousands.

    What are your ideas?

We can stop trying to amass wealth upon which to "retire" upon and pass on to our kids and grandkids. And I've been to a lot of different countries. Very few of them did I require the equivalent of 80K a year to do anything. Certainly not in the 10/40 window. I think the IMB strategy is VERY wrong. But that's another discussion. Hopefully David Platt will start addressing that.

Hank, I don't have a problem with missionaries. I have a problem with designating on average 80k per year per missionary to keep them in the field. If they had to raise their own support, I guarantee it wouldn't cost that much.

I'm putting together some ideas that I might just pass on to the IMB once I've properly verbalized the ideas.

All this while cutting the VA budget, leaving veterans to die waiting for help.

That is an astounding number. It's so sad to see the people that served our country suffer through these things. Many homeless veterans that I've met in the past have suffered from mental instability and were pretty incapable of taking care of themselves. It hurts my heart to see people go through this without any sort of help.

    That does seem steep.

BTW and Coincidentally our pastor asked the deacons for some fresh ideas for service projects tonight.

He doesn't care Hank! And as a vet, it angers me! He would rather allow illegals to pour across out border, unchecked to take much needed jobs, plus bringing in refugees!' We need to take care of vets and Americans before we even begin to think about lending our resources, within our borders, to others that should stay where they are!

Let me conclude the above rant by saying, WE NEED TO ANY AND ALL AMERICANS PRIOR TO HELPING THOSE WHO ILLEGALLY COME HERE LOOKING FOR A BETTER LIFE. A better life is not providing endless entitlements to Americans to have them sit on the sidelines and watch as non Americans here ILLEGALLY or here because of refugee status, take what few jobs are left.

The President, elected officials and big business need to think America and Americans FIRST!!!

When every homeless person in this country has a roof over their head, when every hungry child has good food to eat, when the physical needs of all our citizens have been met, then , and only then, should we think about harboring "refugees" with those among them that want all of us dead.
Especially able bodied men who should be fight for their own country instead of running. Families only. No single men between the ages of 17 and 50 need apply.

"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

"Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him."

Obama cares nothing for our vets. In fact I am convinced he hates all military personnel.

Pray for America brethren, I believe we especially have to pray that Roe Vs. Wade be overturned.

We didn't ask for it. It was dumped on us by the SCOTUS..

Yes, it was under a Republican administration.

His hate for veterans and America seems to be part of the new Republican narrative that says if you're Black or disagree with them, you couldn't possibly love America.

    Just ask Ben Stein.

I don't think that God would really mind if Americans lived "high off the hog" as we have been very generous and faithful in the past with aid and assistance to others and also unparalleled in history disseminating the gospel and the word of God and our part in the Great Awakenings throughout the earth.

    Granted America has
And of course our Father cannot be conflicted about anything.

    But I can.

I don't understand this enigma : Granted the fact above how could we come up with the decision of Roe vs Wade?

Granted no one was asked to vote on it and it was dumped on us.

You don't understand because you don't think like the elite that run the country and formulate foreign policy Hank.

    Here's how they think . . .

"Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy." Henry Kissinger
