Here's Everything We Know About The San Bernardino Shooters

In their endless quest to step on every rake in human existence, the media today first posited that the San Bernardino shooting had something to do with Planned Parenthood (wrong); then they suggested that the real problem was lack of gun control in California, and that those Christians who prayed for the victims were the real problem (wrong). All that was left was an attempt to pin the whole thing on climate change.

But before the leftists in the press and the Obama administration could go that far, reality intervened – the police shot two of the three alleged perpetrators, and one was captured. For hours on social media, the name SyedFarook had been uttered; that name had apparently been stated over the police scanner far earlier in the day. Finally, this evening, the media confirmed that one of the shooters – the alleged initiator of the attack – was indeed SyedFarook.

Here’s what we know about him.

I caught up with this story about two hours after the shootings. I was flicking between Fox, CNN and later added NBC and CBS. At no time did I hear it had anything to do with Planned Parenthood. At no time did I hear anyone blame California's gun control laws, nor did I hear anyone blaming praying Christians. There was plenty of this going on via Twitter, but nothing in the media.

Where do you come up with this alternate reality stuff? I literally just witnessed this whole event unfold and saw nothing of what you describe.

Anyone who thinks they were closely following this and didn't see or hear these things reported....

well, let's just say they need to pay closer attention....or check their sources.

Where do you get off accusing me of describing anything? I didn't write this article.

Why do you always focus on me instead of the evidence? Haven't you learned that there's bias in the media yet? Haven't you learned to overlook the BS and concentrate on the facts yet?

You witnessed nothing but the media reports on TV unless you were on the scene.

Were you on the scene? Watching TV is not the same as witnessing an event unfold.

BTW, I heard about this as it was happening and waited until now to post this article because it has some facts in it. I posted it because it has those facts. I couldn't give a rat's furry buttocks which way the spin blows. I'm not interested in the spin.

Apparently all you're interested in is focusing on the spin to discredit me.

You need to grow up ITL. Seriously you got a problem.

Just minutes after reports emerged of a shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., members of the media quickly began to draw a dubious connection between the shooting and Planned Parenthood, even though the nearest clinic is about a mile away and there is no evidence it is involved.

In fact, Wednesday’s shooting took place at the Inland Regional Center, a facility that mainly provides services for the disabled. The three shooters remain at large and their motives are unknown.

Despite the general lack of information, members of the media and general public quickly moved to note that a Planned Parenthood exists in the general area of the shooting, thereby implying the shooting could be a copycat attack on Planned Parenthood similar to the one carried out last week in Colorado.

CNN, for instance, quickly speculated on the air that Planned Parenthood might be the target, even after acknowledging the shooting didn’t happen there.

Gee I wonder how you missed this? I didn't.

“San Bernardino’s Planned Parenthood is about one mile south of the 1300 block of South Waterman,” mentions Marketwatch, for no clear reason. Raw Story similarly makes a throwaway mention to Planned Parenthood’s proximity. RT’s write-up mentions in its first paragraph the shooting’s location is“around the corner” from a Planned Parenthood.

Alan Colmes, a former Fox News contributor and host of the Alan Colmes Show on radio, saw fit to make an entire blog post about the Planned Parenthood’s proximity to the shooting, even though he explicitly notes the shooting didn’t happen there.

Maybe you don't know everything after all. Oh and BTW I didn't write this article either.

There's nothing in that link about Planned Parenthood.

It's not in the linked articles you provided. There is one line in the first link, as you say, a throwaway line, but somewhat relevant given there was a shooting incident last week at a Planned Parenthood. Raw Story is an internet based "news" site. It's well known they have a bias. They are not on TV or radio. They are not the mass media

Alan Colmes, a former Fox News contributor and host of the Alan Colmes Show on radio, saw fit to make an entire blog post about the Planned Parenthood’s proximity to the shooting, even though he explicitly notes the shooting didn’t happen there.

Alan Colmes is a political commentator, not a news reporter. A blog is not "the mass media".

Gee your mass media wouldn't edit things out of a story after it was released or "disappear" it completely would they? O O

Where do you think the term "memory hole" came from?

You don't know any more about this than anyone else, you weren't there.

All we have to go by is what the "mass media" tells us and they're known for lying, omitting and disappearing facts and spinning. It's been proven time and again.

And after all that you still think they're going to give you honest and accurate coverage of a story?

You need help.

So your "proof" doesn't measure up and you blame someone else.

All we have to go by is what the "mass media" tells us and they're known for lying, omitting and disappearing facts and spinning. It's been proven time and again.

Yet right here in your posts from your alternative media there are omitted and disappearing facts. Laid bare for all to see.

And after all that you still think they're going to give you honest and accurate coverage of a story?

Well naturally, your sources obviously have no bias whatsoever. LOL!!

Ann, I saw that. Re-read Poncho's post (above). He alleges that the media is saying "praying Christians are the real problem". I don't see the NY Post front page as blaming Christians for the shooter's actions, do you?

They are saying that Democrats are trying to stop this when Republicans don't try to stop it but just pray instead. So in essence, that is exactly what they are saying.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/gop-candidates-call-prayers-calf-massacre-article-1.2453261

"Prayers aren’t working.

White House hopefuls on the Democratic side of the aisle called for stricter gun laws in the wake of the shooting in San Bernardino that left at least 14 dead.

But after yet another mass shooting in America, GOP presidential contenders were conspicuously silent on the issue of gun control.

Instead, the Republicans were preaching about prayer."

"Democrats — even those not running for office — slammed the GOP presidential candidates for offering prayers instead of action.

“Your ‘thoughts’ should be about steps to take to stop this carnage,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn) posted on Twitter. “Your ‘prayers’ should be for forgiveness if you do nothing — again.”"

ITL's trusty mass media is reporting that 355 mass shootings have taken place in the USA this year.

Following the shooting in San Bernardino, California yesterday, several mainstream media sites have claimed that it constitutes the 355th mass shooting this year.

No, it doesn’t.

The figure was unquestioningly repeated by The New York Times, the Washington Post,Boston Globe, CBS News, MSNBC, and Newsday, despite the fact that it is inaccurate and does not in any way dovetail with FBI statistics.

Television newscasts also repeatedly cited the figure without checking the facts.

The origin of the figure is even more ridiculous, given that it was culled from a claim by a group of anti-Second Amendment “activists” on the news sharing website Reddit.

The group, named “Guns Are Cool,” (an attempted ironic name) runs a “subreddit” page which it describes as “the world’s only crowd sourced mass shooting tracker, as featured on the Huffington Post, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, the Young Turks, the FX Network’s ‘Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell’ and more!”

The trouble is, that it’s figures are totally out of whack with official stats.

According to the FBI, only 21 of the 355 shootings identified by the anti-gunners can actually be categorized as mass murder with a firearm.

It is still too many, but it isn’t any where close to 355.

Continue . . . http://www.prisonplanet.com/no-there-have-not-been-355-mass-shootings-this-year.html

So what the numbers are bogus? According to ITL we should still trust the mass media to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. He'd like us to believe that the mass media doesn't omit facts, twist facts, hide facts and disappear facts that don't fit the narrative.

Even though it has been proven time and again to do all these things.

ITL needs help understanding that the conglomerated mass corporate media (owned by just 6 global corporations) is not there to inform us it's there to control us, to divide us and to conform us.

Notice how it is the what ITL would call "Poncho's sources" or "alternative" or "conspiracy theorists" or other names the corporate media has given the real investigators and journalists that are doing the investigating and fact checking while ITL is busy defending the corporation's talking heads that have continually lied, covered up, censored and disappeared stories that don't fit the narratives?

Sure they do. But individual Twitter accounts are not an official arm of a media company.

Plausible deniability on your part. I saw it in 2 places, both on twitter. One was sourced cnn and the other msnbc.

Now you can put your blinders back on.

ITL needs help.

The FBI describes mass murders as an event where four or more people are killed.
This group describes a mass shooting as an event where four or more people are shot.

According to that definition--four or more people being shot--there have been 355 mass shootings so far this year. (Note: not mass murders.)

Poncho needs help reading.
