No, Allah and the triune God that we worship are diametrically opposed to each other.
One is impersonal; the other personal.
One is a god of fate; the other a God who is personally involved in the affairs of His creation.
There are so many differences between the two and the two religions. The God of Christianity is not the same as the evil god of Islam.

The Apostle Paul would disagree with you:

2Co_11:4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

I think you have just confirmed what I said. Moslems have an imperfect and thus a flawed understanding of God. They don't know Him. Yet they know that He is the God of Abraham. Indeed Abraham did not understand his God (Yahweh) as three persons like we do. If you say Moslems worship a different god, then you must also say that Jews worship a different god.

When St. Paul speaks of "another Jesus" he is not referring to a different man but rather to a distorted message of Jesus in conflict with the true apostolic gospel. It's like Billy Graham when he learned of Richard Nixon's coarse and vulgar language on the Watergate tapes and said, "This is not the Richard Nixon that I know." Same man, different perceptions. One correct and the other wrong. Similarly, Allah is the same as our God. The Moslems simply have a very wrong view of who He is.

I'm 6'5"+ dark hair, 350 lbs. If someone came to you and said they spoke to me but described a 5'5" 170 lbs man with blonde hair could we say they spoke to me?

The attributes and character of the god they worship and describe does not resemble the God of the Bible. They do not worship Him, they do not know Him and on the day of judgement they will be sent to hell by Him because they refused Him.

Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?'
Mat 7:23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

I mus respectfully disagree. The allah of islam is not the same as the triune Godhead we worship and serve. It isn't even an imperfect understanding of God.

Wheaton administrators repent for hounding professor:

    http://www.religionnews.com/2016/02/06/wheaton-larycia-hawkins-god/

"the termination process, which began with an investigation by a faculty council and would eventually reach Provost Stanton Jones’ desk, was short-circuited when faculty leaders unanimously asked Wheaton College to drop its attempt to fire Hawkins, according to Christianity Today. In a letter dated Feb. 2 and published Saturday by the magazine, Jones told the faculty:

'I communicated to Dr. Hawkins that I recognize her as a sister in Christ, and that it was never my intent to call the sincerity of her faith into question. I asked Dr. Hawkins for her forgiveness for the ways I contributed to the fracture of our relationship, and to the fracture of Dr. Hawkins’ relationship with the College. While I acted to exercise my position of oversight of the faculty within the bounds of Wheaton College employment policies and procedures, I apologized for my lack of wisdom and collegiality as I initially approached Dr. Hawkins, and for imposing an administrative leave more precipitously than was necessary.'"

"[Wheaton President Philip] Ryken called this “a time for prayer, lament, repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation,” and announced a reconciliation service in the college chapel for Tuesday, at which he and Hawkins will both speak."

"Ryken also announced there will be a review by the Board of Trustees on the issues raised over the last two months, including 'academic freedom, due process, the leaking of confidential information, possible violations of faculty governance, and gender and racial discrimination.'"

"Saturday’s joint statement [by Professor Hawkins and the college] said, 'Both parties share a commitment to care for the oppressed and the marginalized, including those who are marginalized because of their religious beliefs, and to respectful dialogue with people of other faiths or no faith.'"

"The statement on Wheaton’s website referred to a 'confidential agreement under which they will part ways.'"

"It also announced that none of the parties would be available for questions and that there will be a joint press conference — where no questions will be allowed — 'in pursuit of further public reconciliation' on Wednesday (Feb. 10) at a Chicago church."

"Hundreds are expected to gather outside Edman Memorial Chapel on Wheaton College's campus at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday to announce the launch of a nationwide fast that calls upon the Wheaton community and other evangelical Christian institutions to 'confess and repent of the sins of racism, sexism and Islamophobia, and recognize that all humans have dignity and are created equal in the eyes of God'"

"While the campus gathering is under way, Hawkins and Wheaton College President Philip Ryken will be at the Chicago Temple First Methodist Church in Chicago Wednesday to announce that resolution and reconciliation during a news conference beginning at 10 a.m."

Will also pursue interfaith dialog with Jewish and Muslim communities:

"'Each year we will invite a scholar from the Jewish or Muslim community for respectful dialogue about interfaith relations,' Wheaton President Philip Ryken announced at a press conference on Wednesday. 'And today, I announce that in the name of Dr. Hawkins we are establishing an endowed scholarship for interns to pursue a summer program or project in peace and conflict studies.'"

Wheaton Trustees Admit Suspending Hawkins Was 'Error in Judgment'

"On Tuesday, the board's task force released a 15-page final report highlighting its findings."

"'President Ryken's active engagement with Dr. Hawkins following the Notice of Termination effectively facilitated a resolution of the conflict,' the report reads. 'Following the mediated agreement to part ways, his emphasis on lament in acknowledging the pain experienced by the community set a gracious and appropriate tone for both the reconciliation service at the College and the press conference in Chicago.'"

Yep. They caved in to political correctness.

I could only say I worshiped the same God if they worshiped the Triune God, Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.

    That will never happen.

If they don't believe Jesus is God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, do they really worship the same God?

So, you don't believe Jesus is God the Son? You can't have it both ways. If the Jews believe in a god who does NOT include Jesus as God the Son then they believe in a different, false, god.

The most you can say that the Muslims, Jews, and Christians have in common is they are all monotheists. They each believe in ONE God but that ONE God is demonstratively NOT the same God.

The God of the Jews is the One that sent Moses and theLaw unto Israel, so they would know of the real God, but not be in a Covanent relationship unless accept Yeshua as Messiah!

Jews had th True GOd Yahweh dealing with tem in history, but Islam never had th true God with Muhammed!
