If any of you watched last night's debate on CNN, you may have felt like it was a verbal version of the BB Forum's. It was terrible how Rubio and Cruz "piled on" Trump. It was nothing less than an act of futile desperation by the two second and third place candidates and the powerful GOP, which is running scared.

My question is simple ... if the GOP succeeds in removing Trump, would he have success as a viable third party candidate?

I believe if a third party ever had a chance, this may be the year. The DNC is on shaky ground with Hillary. And the GOP is taking on water, as Trump is showing he can flex his political muscles as shown in the huge crowds voting in the first four elections/caucuses. It is quite possible that his 35% number could be enough should the DNC and GOP lose voters to Trumpism! IMHO of course.

Like I said this is going to be an interesting year. So we will see what we see!? Whistling

A fractured GOP might mean that once again the GOP loses as they did with McCain and with Romney. The establishment GOP does not want a conservative candidate ever so they might unite behind Trump as the best that they can do in their hopes of making deals at the expense of the average person.

Viable? Yes. Enough to win. Not even close.

Just as Ross Perot got Bill Clinton elected, so would Trump get Hillary, or any other socialist, elected.

I myself am not throwing in the towel until the people have voted. It is no secret that the GOP is fractured--the establishment wants Rubio but will settle for Trump. The establishment wants to dictate the GOP candidate always.

I cannot help but wonder if this has been the plan from the beginning.
