In 2012, the Donald Trump Foundation donated $20,000 to the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a gay activist organization that promotes the LGBT agenda in K-12 classrooms in public schools.
A form 990 available for public viewing online shows the GOP frontrunner made the donation to GLSEN and also donated $10,000 to the Gay Men’s Health Crisis.

GLSEN was founded by gay activist and former Obama administration “Safe Schools Czar”Kevin Jennings, who currently serves as executive director of the Arcus Foundation, a powerful LGBT activist organization. Arcus is led by billionaire Jon Stryker, heir of the Stryker medical technology company, who aided President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign as a top bundler. Arcus provides “social justice grants” to “support emerging LGBT leaders.”

Wonder how many so-called evangelicals will defect from Trump when this gets widespread airing?

Or will it even matter? Gotta stop Hillary, ya know.

Some people want to choose party over principle and the lesser of two evils.

Yes, and that perceived "gap of evil" keeps shrinking.

Has Trump been confronted with this publicly?

Well, this donation was made by Trump but that's not the whole story. On his show "Celebrity Apprentice", the challenger winner received a donation to the charity of his choice. Clay Aiken won that challenge.

Exactly what are you saying? That Trump's $20,000 donation to GLSEN was a part of the TV show "Celebrity Apprentice?" If so, you are mistaken. Take a look at the IRS Form 990 which is linked to in the article Revmitchell posted. You can see that the Trump Foundation is the donor, not NBC TV. (The detail of the GLSEN contribution is on page 16 of the form.) You can also see that he gave $100K to The Billy Graham Association and $25K to Samaritan's Purse.

After I read your post, I looked it up. I was wrong - the GLSEN contributions were from Aubrey O'Day not Clay. She won twice:

Trump had an agreement with NBC to provide a 10k bonus to the winner's charity from the Trump Foundation. The final prize money was paid out by NBC, these were just bonuses.

But almost all of these charities were pro-LGTB and Trump let that slide. Not the best season for the show.
