    Why would I not feel safer. I am in the US now. Are you implying it is less safe here?

    So you didn't really want an answer...

    IIRC, Crabtownboy was living in Europe but moved to the U.S. So, yes, I'd say he is feeling safer now than he was 8 years ago.

    In your opinion, am I safer here or in Europe?

    Honest answer? I feel no different as far as safety goes. Neither more secure or less secure.

    Now, seven years ago? I was in Iraq. 4 years ago I was in Afghanistan. After being in those places it's a dual edged sword. I feel both safe and unsafe no matter where I go.
