Terrorist Attaks Underreported

The White House released a list of terrorist attaks (sic) that they said were under reported. Among the attaks that were under reported were the Paris attacks, the Orlando nightclub attack, the Belgium airport attack, the Nice truck attack, and close to me, the St. Cloud mall attack.

Here's how the local press handled the St. Cloud attack. Under reported?

I assume the newspaper in the OP is the Minneapolis paper. The St. Cloud attack would be big news for some period of time. However, the story was not on the front page in the various forms of the news for much more than a day.

If Trump wanted to control media coverage, he should have bought himself a newspaper and a television channel.

Yes, it was the Minneapolis paper. The reason it might have gotten short shrift in the national news is because there was a bombing in NYC at the same time.

My point is while the Minneapolis outlets covered the story in depth is it reasonable to expect other markets to do the same.

I absolutely remember the St. Cloud mall attack, and I don't watch cable news.

Trump's photo is also on the front page - someone is demanding his records - so he was probably too self-involved to know what was happening outside of his bubble.

The White House and Trump are not looking presidential nor convincing. They really need to get their act together. I have a feeling that Trump screams, they write like mad, do no spell check, do no analysis and put out info. that is not to be taken seriously.

In response to their boss's allegation that the media has been ignoring terrorist attacks, the White House released a list of 78 of them that it feels have been given short shrift.

It's a bit of a mess.

Dozens of typos, odd inclusions and odd exclusions are the norm in this apparently hastily assembled list. Also:
