The shooter was a local Las Vegas resident named Stephen Paddock.

While it was an act of domestic terror, you had NO business posting anti-immigration rhetoric in relation to it. You have created fake news with your post. If you have a shred of integrity, you'd apologize and ask for this thread to be deleted, so that you could re-start it and address the facts and *truth* of the incident.

 

Not one word of sympathy for the victims.

Not one mention of prayer for the survivors.

Not one mention of prayer for the relatives of the deceased.

Just a full on rush to politicize a tragedy.

My deepest sympathy to those injured and to the relatives of those who died. May the God of all comfort be near them. I believe there are some on this board who live nearby.

(1) This was not a sniper, this was a man unloading an automatic weapon of some sort onto a crowd.
(2) Your header for this thread trivializes the horror of this attack on the public.
(3) The shooter was a local resident, an older white guy, that does not likely have ties to ISIS.
(4) Like most mass shooters, he was white male, so (by your logic) that show the kind of low-life we need to watch carefully. Let's ban white males from having firearms, make them register, and hold all white males guilty for what happens "in their community."

This is a prime example of why law enforcement should be using its valuable resources to prevent real crime instead of wasting away their resources annoying honest people just trying to make a living.

 

Listening to the fire rate, I believe it was a full auto conversion with a heavy bolt carrier group. It could be a genuine pre ban full auto.

 

Most mass shooters are not white.

The shooter lives in Mesquite, AZ. I got an email from a friend of mine that moved to Mesquite last winter. The guy lives six houses away from him on the same street. My friend says FBI and law enforcement are swarming the property looking for clues and evidence.

It's probably not ISIS related.

 

The boldface seems obvious to me, once I saw an airphoto (pre-tragedy, of course) of the scene. The guy was 200 yards or more away from the crowd. I don't think a shooter exists who can pick individual targets (smaller than a crowded opening) while firing full-auto from that distance, unless the weapon is firmly fixed in place - probably not even then. Once the investigators recover and count all the brass from that 32nd-floor room, the number will be horrifying.
And the usual calls for tightening gun laws are inevitable, despite all the restrictions currently in place on full-auto weapons.

 

I hope this was a "false flag" staged event, my sympathies if it wasn't.
But I became skeptical of these things, ever since they came out with "Sandy Hook".

 

I also doubt it. White dudes in their sixties rarely convert to anything. But I’m not going to say anything definite.

 

The FBI is flat out denying this was tied to Isis (not Isil)
