    Prove that:

    1) God rested on the first day of the week
    2) God blessed the first day of the week
    3) God sanctified (or set apart for a holy use)
    4) God wrote the 1st day of the week in His law

First - the Sabbath is still on Saturday
Second - I worship on Sunday
Three - Why did Jesus only repeat 8 1/2 of the Ten comments?

First two points are certainly true.

    Third point???

Are you asking why Jesus (and in fact all New Testament writers) never repeated the commandment that says "do not take God's name in vain"?

If so... why do you want to focus on that?? How is that helping your point?

Jesus Christ rose on Sunday. That is GAME OVER.

A decree of words is very powerful, like scripture and law.

A decree of THE WORD annihilates all things.

Someone sends you a letter that says they care about you, that's nice.

A person takes a bullet for you, That doesn't decree or say anything at all!? You are crazy if you think no.

Jesus Christ THE WORD, HE ROSE, HE is ALIVE, GAME OVER.

The act of worship rising from the dead to a glorified unity with God almighty.

Jesus Christ has done broke your rule! There is no worship that can top that!

We can sabbath sure. we can take all the sabbath worships bunch them together, multiply it by a billion, And you still don't even amount to 1% of the holiness of worship that Jesus Christ delivered on when? A SUNDAY.

Jesus Christ, He done broke it.

There is so much win in the Resurrection of Christ

Prove God blessed the first day? are you kidding me!?

When Jesus rose.......Did we get blessed? we got GOD. You know what your probably right.....the look on God's face when you go ask if he gave any blessing on sunday.

Of course someone who doesn't believe Jesus is God won't see a value in receiving the glorious Jesus Christ.

There ought to be a law that says you can't worship on sunday just so the sincere fervor loyalty and love of Jesus would be better expressed.

You could go to hell for worshiping Jesus on sunday? Sign me up, I LOVE JESUS CHRIST.

All of my heaven already happened there when he rose. That day won the DAY! It even gave DAYTIME born again.

The connection to Jesus is so real that the PROOF and Validations were unnecessary.

Its like if the universe is a Video GAME Player 1 doesn't need a video game for him to know Player 2 said "I love you."

Me and Christ, its over with. We on that same ground and its a uncreated ground, its between us. Its our own word, its my name he only knows.

You know when you sincerely appreciate so totally appreciated it doesn't need a thank you card because it is actual appreciation and being appreciated. The gratitude is too real. The "YES!" is truly mighty.

I forgive you if Jesus rising from the dead doesn't mean anything to you. And if I'm wrong and it does please go ahead and put a price tag on it.

For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. But He answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”
For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God
    [John 5:16-18].

That is an important detail... the pro-Sunday argument only has that one Bible detail... and not an actual Bible text saying that week-day-1 is some sort of weekly observance or holy day or a day to worship or a day to keep from secular activity or a replacement for the Sabbath commandment.

Everything about a 7 day week cycle observance of week-day-1 has to be "imagined" rather than found in the text of the form "remember week-day-1 to keep it holy for week day 1 is the holy day of the Lord... the Lord's day"

The Jews accused Christ of a great many things... and they accused Paul as well... shall we join them?

    I choose not to.

Me too - no sense in joining those who falsely accused Jesus and Paul.

Nice to find agreement where it exists.

The Sabbath is Saturday. Sunday is the traditional day of Christian worship. You can worship on Tuesday if you like. You can worship on Saturday if you like.

Jesus Christ is the "Christian Sabbath".

    Matthew 11
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The Sabbath was created just for israel to observe and worship unto Yahweh though, and the Apostles still met in the temple as did paul in that transition period in Acts, but after that time, Christianity observed Sunday as the Lord's day, as when God raised up Jesus from the dead!

you can pick any day you like - as your own holy day..and you can choose to be atheist.. you have free will

but "the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD YHWH" Ex 20:10

And you can't make the world in 7 days... and you can't change/edit God's Word.

"what matters is keeping the Commandments of God" 1 Cor 7:19
"the saints KEEP the Commandments of God AND their faith in Jesus" Rev 14:12
"from Sabbath to Sabbath shall ALL MANKIND come before Me to worship" Isaiah 66:23
"this IS the Love of God - that we KEEP His Commandments" 1 John 5:2-3

" 4 And he was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath and trying to persuade Jews and Greeks" Acts 18:4

Eph 6:2 -- the TEN Commandments: the 5th commandment "is the FIRST commandment with a promise" in that still-valid unit of TEN

Matthew 11 is a great place to NOT find the statement "Jesus Christ is the Christian Sabbath".

    Matthew 11
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Worshiping on 1st day/8th day is all over the place.

    Leviticus 23
35‘On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind. 36‘For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.

    Leviticus 23
39‘On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day.

    Nehemiah 8:18

18He read from the book of the law of God daily, from the first day to the last day. And they celebrated the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly according to the ordinance.

    Ezekiel 43

27‘When they have completed the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall offer your burnt offerings on the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you,’ declares the Lord GOD.”

    Leviticus 14
10“Now on the eighth day he is to take two male lambs without defect, and a yearling ewe lamb without defect, and three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil; 11and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the aforesaid before the LORD at the doorway of the tent of meeting.

    Leviticus 14
23“Then the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, at the doorway of the tent of meeting, before the LORD. 24“The priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering and the log of oil, and the priest shall offer them for a wave offering before the LORD.

    Acts 15
21“For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

James had to explain to gentiles what Jews did on the Sabbath. Otherwise they would have been doing the same thing, like reading scriptures.

The Ten Commandments - "Just for Israel" Exodus 20:1-3
The NEW Covenant -- "Just for Israel" - Jeremiah 31:31-33

those kinds of arguments are short-lived misdirection.

    Rom 2
25 For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a transgressor of the Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. 26 So if the uncircumcised man keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision? 27 And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor of the Law? 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

that is not a reference to the first day of the week.

33 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the Lord. 35 On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind.

the first day of the feast which begins the 15th day of the month -- could be a Saturday or a Tuesday -- nothing says it was a week-day-1.

    bible details matter.

Misdirection simply indicates a deeply rooted flaw in the argument.

Brother you got a fanatic obsessive bias that was built around worshiping one day to vilify all other religions but your own.

They don't want you to leave the religion for another what better way to do that then make one thing your calling card. For some people the calling card is you don't need doctors God heals you, You don't worship Jesus he is just a man, You don't worship in tongues then you don't have the spirit.

And what are you taught? everyone is evil except you. Its this combative view that you are a victim and everyone else is controlled by the devil.

They don't call the Devil the ACCUSER for nothing. Every seed of disharmony between all of us starts with accusation and finger pointing and fault finding.

You know in heaven religion are good things that behave to the standard of man.

Among people we would say the good person is one who cares about the others defends the others would even give its life up for the others. We don't say its the bully who beats the others up.

That same standard falls on religions too. Its the one that defends others, cares about others, its not the bully religion who beats the others up.
