I've watched Trump over the years and was a fan of his show. One thing you have to understand about Trump, he separates business from friendships. If you work for him, you better do a good job. If you don't he'll either fire you or make you wish he did.

Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!

Session is in the doghouse for good reason IMO. He's a day late and a dollar short with just about everything. Some of these moves are just embarrassing.

But at this point, he should just resign. Some respond well to Trump chastisements and get on the ball, others do not. Sessions can't seem to get anything right. Not a bad guy, just not good at this highly demanding position. He doesn't thrive under pressure. Hoping he can find an exit strategy.

Let's see. The AG is asking for an investigation into FISA warrants, possibly (probably) issued illegally and fraudulently instead of embarking on a witch hunt of an ex FBI Director?

FISA, as with the rest of the so-called "Patriot Act," is the greatest threat to our freedom to ever exist in our over 200 years of existence, allowing the federal government to issue warrants without due process, to make arrests without due process, incarcerate American citizens without due process, and generally to function as a secret gestapo with no public oversight.

And you want him to focus on a vindictive witch hunt of those who disagree with President Trump Politically?

Let's see who may know more about the issue.

President Trump. BA from U of Penn. No government experience including no military service.

Jeff Sessions. A BA from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, University of Alabama School of Law J.D. US Army captain. United States Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama. Attorney General of Alabama, U.S. Senate for 20 + years.

Now I wonder which one would have the better understanding of the legal issues involved?

Jeff Sessions is a terrible A.G. He is a huge disappointment. Many Republicans in Congress are vocal about his ineffectiveness.
I am sure Trump is getting assistance from very capable lawyers.

Zactly. It'd take forever to get someone else approved to take his place though.

So all who have criticized Sessions are Alt-Right. Got it! Fantastic argument, phony meaningless liberal terms and all.

Regardless, Trump is criticizing Sessions for having an Obama-guy IG with no power at all to look into this. Why? I think it's a fair criticism. Sure seems a huge waste of time.

It's also fair to point out, this entire debacle was made possible by a silly decision to recuse himself from a Russia collusion investigation with no initial evidence to trigger an investigation in the first place. Good strategy by the dems, but only if someone is dumb enough to fall for it. I guess you're saying you'd have done the same thing? Wow!

And about credentials. Reminds of how the highly credentialed heretical theologians of our time have made the Church completely and totally irrelevant in this day and age. But I digress.

I'll take Trump over these credentialed RINOs any day of the week. I thank God we don't have anther overeducated Harvard buffoon running the Presidency.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? Please post a quote where I said "all who have criticized Sessions are Alt-Right."

Do you have a pride problem? Is there a reason every argument you make is a endless whiny clump of insults? Is this what you learned in seminary?

Zactly. It'd take forever to get someone else approved to take his place though. Trump could be impeached first. :D

Yeah, it's not so simple. I'd love to see Sessions fired, but getting rid of him will take time. Trump is hammering him, though, brining a lot of awareness to his incompetence. That's probably the best strategy for now. I don't think Sessions will last the full term.

    ???

Seems to me everyone else has done the 'ferreting', not him. Now the heat's on him to get off his butt and act on it.

I learned to tell the truth at a very young age and learned to be accurate in my quotes when in college and seminary. You must have missed out on one or the other.

I didn't see the world some either. The natural inference in a response like that is all.
