First-ever private border wall built in New Mexico

The section was also built faster and, organizers say, likely more cheaply than the government has been able to manage in recent years.

Kris Kobach, a former secretary of state in Kansas and an informal immigration adviser to President Trump, says the New Mexico project has the president’s blessing and says local Border Patrol agents are eager to have the assistance.

A New Mexico town issued a cease-and-desist order Tuesday telling a private group building a half-mile of border wall to stop construction, saying We Build the Wall’s permits weren’t in order.

The group, which was 80% of the way done with the section of wall, has stopped work in order to solve the snafu with Sunland Park, said Kris Kobach, general counsel for We Build the Wall.

I donated when the GFM page first started, before Christmas. I likely will again now that they are making progress, unless the leftists are able to tear it down. Ever notice the left makes a concerted effort to always install dims at the local level, where winning the seat doesn’t take much, but pays big rewards in many cases, like this. They are organized, & really have had that going for them for some time. That’s how they have quietly taken over the education system. If they get the youth, they get the country. Insidious.
