So the USA was wrong to defend ourselves against the NAZIS, the Imperial Japanese, or any aggressor who employs mass murder, holocaust etc. we are all to be pacifists.

I guess we were also wrong to fight the British for the freedoms we now enjoy.

You are still deflecting, Christians act within the ministry of government.

When a mentally unstable shooter enters a school and is shooting as many children as he can, police (some professing Christians) enter at their own risk to save others using deadly force.

Christians were wrong in taking part. God is a God of war and WWII was part of his plan for the world, not for the Church.

You are just making unfounded assertions now. They used deadly force to protect children in accordance with government authority.

Not how scripture presents Cornelius. He was baptized with the Holy Spirit (demonstrated by speaking in tongues).

Christians should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers in the military.

While Peter had a short temper, he was a fisherman, not a trained warrior.

I'm trying to imagine what kinda blow Peter struck. Were he behind Malchus, & swung right-handed, the blow shoulda continued into Malchus' shoulder if he'd swung straight down. Were he facing Malchus, he mighta struck horizontally with his left hand & Malchus tried to duch the blow the blow, but failed to completely dodge it.

And there's no Scriptural record record of how Malchus reacted & what he did afterwards when Jesus picked up hie ear & re-attached it. (Nor any secular record, either.)

Jesus speaks of war and the use of violence in his parables and he does not make a point of condemning such behavior. For instance, he said, "Or what king, going out to wage war against another king, will not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one who comes against him with twenty thousand?" (Lk. 14:31). Jesus also said, "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his castle, his property is safe" (Lk. 11:21). Jesus seems to recognize that war and violence are sometimes justified.

So if an unbeliever is now your commanding officer, you are to disobey him/her?

Yea, I should pray for all those who willingly gave up their lives so that we could have freedom because they were in effect disobeying Christ.

You should not be there. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV 1900)

It's all in the Bible. Lord of hosts in the OT = Lord of armies.
